In the above part A, information about a project has been mentioned which is related to
developing an electric car (Meckling and Nahm, 2018). Electric cars have low operating costs as
they have fewer rotating maintenance components and are therefore very ecological because they
use less to no fossil fuels (petrol or diesel). While some electrically operated electrostatic
vehicles use lead acid batteries or nickel metal hydride batteries, lithium ion batteries are now
considered as common, as they have an extended lifespan and are outstanding for storing energy
at just 5 percent a month self-discharge cost. Notwithstanding these increased reliability,
problems remain with the thermal run-up batteries that have triggered fires or explosions in Tesla
model S for instance, while attempts have been made to imitate them.
