Introduction
The use of vehicles in day-to-day life results in pollution which adversely affects the
natural surroundings. Many automobile companies are working in resolving these issues to
maintain sustainability in their operations and make environmentally friendly vehicles.
Electric cars are the foremost evolution that has been observed in recent years. All electric
vehicles are run or operated with the help of electricity, which eliminates and reduces the use
of numbers of diesel and petroleum-based vehicles (Amini, and Samani, 2021). Several
innovative tools and instruments are utilized for the systematic functioning of electric
vehicles, installation of rechargeable batteries and cells are a few examples that are enhancing
the popularity of electric vehicles in the current situation. Such vehicles make it true that
there is less use of fossil fuel and prevents hazardous activities in context to the natural
environment. Nowadays, people are much aware of the uses of electric vehicles and with the
identification of this trend, companies are expanding their activities in this area at a wide
level. The given report is about the invention of electric vehicles, along with its pros and
cons. It will also highlight some major problems which are associated with electric cars, for
example, due to their high-value consumers are not able to afford them.

current generation is to represent the new advanced technology that is working to achieve
sustainable means of transportation and focuses on reducing the implementation of the toxic
substance, which could influence the biological surrounding and make it unhealthy.
Considering electric vehicles as the substitute for other transportation, as it prevails the idea
of energy saving among the people. Different tools, techniques, batteries, and charging
facilities together build the best infrastructure for electronic vehicles which is continuously
diversifying the performance of the automobile industry. (Nanaki, 2020)
Schalk Cloete, 2021 has mentioned different types of the complex landscape of this
new form of vehicle services, the maintenance of EV vehicles is not a cost-effective thing. It
requires heavy knowledge of electrical objects and presenting the beneficial way to make
them work for a longer period. The competitiveness in the electric vehicle industry is not
above the bar, which may lead to less futuristic upgradation in this technology. So, it is

indicating the opportunity for growth isn’t effective for the business organization that is
planning to spread its operations in this market (The 10 Biggest Problems With Electric Cars,
2021).
In an article which is written by Neil Winton, in 2022 although there is an utmost rise
in the sale of electronic vehicles in several countries. But still, some reports and examinations
are showing the poor side of electronic vehicle technology as numerous users have submitted
their carp in respect to the batteries and charging system. This can create a hindrance for all
those people who are using such vehicles for long travel. In addition to this, companies did
not inform consumers about certain issues which might be related to the manufacturing and

According to Joeri Van Mierlo, 2018 detailed information which is depicting the
interest and awareness of general people toward the idea of e-mobility has been given. With
this, he wants to acknowledge the growing need for electronic vehicles in different sectors
which is also developing the relationship of the consumers with such advanced automobile
companies. It is elaborating on the distinct instances which are helping the industry in making
the best use for the future and current generation. It depends on the ideology of reduction in
the use of such facilities which stimulates the harmful components in the environment that

electronic vehicles requires some resources. So, it is to be noted that obnoxious use of the

manufacturing activities from vehicles that were dependent on the use of fossil fuel, and now,
they will operate with the utilization of electrical energy. So, this is a very decisive point in
which emphasis should be on optimum and productive consumption of resources and

following the concept of sustainability by declining the emission of greenhouse gas such as

communication stream that is necessary for the construction of suitable tactics that will
promote the idea of sustainable development. With this, he wants to convey the fact that to
achieve the preservation of the environment in the way of sustainability, then the electronic

Analysis and evaluation
To gain information about the further growth and development in EV technology, it is
important to find out the existing environment of the industry and in what way people are
looking towards this new transportation facility. Proper detail and specification about the
benefits that electronic vehicles can offer to people, will guide in identifying the evolution in
this particular phase.
Current situation of the electric vehicle market
Over the last few years, governments of different nations also giving full
contributions to the production of electric vehicles. By noticing different analyses and finding
that the last two were quite beneficial for the EV technology market, due to the global
pandemic mass investment has been done by the government to give a good rise to all those
automobile organizations which are trying to develop their function and working on the
manufacturing of the electronic vehicle. Not only this, revenue generation of the EV industry
is experiencing a strong boost in upcoming years (Hopkins, and Reid, 2018). Companies like
Tesla are endlessly bringing new tools and tactics in their electronic vehicle and making good
profits as such innovations have the potential to attract a mass number of customers who like
to try new functions of EV technology. All such opportunities are enough to represent the
good future of electronic vehicle because now customers are ready to purchase these vehicles
and wants to serve in the campaign with which the company is increasing sustainable
development too. It only needs some more improvement and creativity, so that there will be
no issues and problems faced by the consumers in the functioning of the electric vehicles,
which will result in a good experience with the respective company.
Benefits of Electric Vehicles-
It inculcates people the idea of saving money, as their no further expense on fuel or
diesel. And this could be utilized in some other profitable areas, along with involving such
advanced technology in daily use helps in keeping people up to date about the current and

future trends of the automobile industry. Connecting the EV technology with available
natural resources, then using electricity is not much expensive. On that too, electricity is a
renewable source of energy which means a customer will not face a situation of unavailable
sources to operate electric vehicles. So, the overall running cost for the electric vehicle will
be low. Furthermore, customers can easily understand all the features of EV technology and
can drive it perfectly, because learning about this is not so complex. In financial terms, if an
individual goes for electric vehicles instead of other ones, then he will get the opportunity to
enjoy the tax credit facility. Other than this, it is a suitable model for all those people who are
following the message of environmental safety and avoid vehicles that operate from fossils
fuel. And there is no issue regarding the charging of the battery as one can do it from his own
home (Keen, Adams, and Simpson, 2021).
Limitations of Electric Vehicles-
Some companies offer electric vehicles in very high ranges and it could be difficult to
afford for those consumers who earn minimal income. Electric vehicles do not give the
feature to control the speed, as companies install some specific range or limits for this
purpose. This is because the battery of the vehicle only supports travel to some extent and
after that period it is necessary to charge it again. The procedure of charging the battery of an
electric vehicle is quite time-consuming, which can influence the timeline for a particular
journey. Even if EV technology is supporting sustainability but still manufacturing such
vehicles emits harmful gases and leads to pollutes the environment (Villarreal, and Martinez,
2018). The number of the station to charge the vehicles are less, which can affect the demand
among the consumers for the same. Formation of EV batteries is only possible when there are
sufficient metals available and the characteristics of such raw materials are erratic and could
not find easily at any given place. So, these are the certain drawback that is revolving around
the industry of electric vehicles and making it tough to successfully implement the utilization
of this technology in society. Considering all issues and taking relevant actions to solve them
will help in the good development of EV technology.

government of the country is trying its best to make people aware and find distinct ways to

adding manufacturing units for the production of electric vehicles. Moreover, the government
of a nation is continuously spreading the motto behind the use of electric vehicles and asking
for the support of the general public to support them. They want to spread the idea of a
sustainable environment and its emergent need for the natural surroundings of the country.
This company is also taking the help of organizations and making it possible to increase the
assistance of the members to get more and more people to pursue electric vehicles for
transportation purposes. Apart from all this, the government is focusing on setting the prices
of such vehicles at such a level at which they could be easily purchased by every individual
(Mason, 2019).
Recommendation
It is important to find some specific solution to tackle all the current issues which are
prevailing in the electric vehicle market. Firstly, it is upon the companies which are involved
in the production activities of electric vehicles, the main aim of the management should be on
enhancing the limit of the distance which a person can travel in the one time charged battery.
For this an improvement must be done in the manufacturing of such batteries, by recovering
this company can give a smooth competition to other vehicles. Another thing that could
promote the effective use of EV technology is good investment criteria, the company should
concentrate on the stakeholders in the business management. This is the only way by which
more invention is possible in the current framework of an electric vehicle. It assists the
company in taking more new techniques to upgrade the model of vehicles and bring the new
version, which also helps in attracting more consumers to the EV industry. Government can
also participate in making this industry more successful by installing the maximum number
of charging stations in different locations (Sinfield, and Burns, 2022). This will not bother the
customers to decide on purchasing electric vehicles, because they do not have to worry about
the situation a battery running out during their journey. For a better future for the EV
industry, it is necessary to take these measures for the enhancement of the existing
framework of the electric vehicle business.

Reflective Statement-
In this personal statement, I will mention all my experience regarding the preparation
of this report. This report has granted me several chances to improve myself and work on the
weakness which has disturbed the research on the given topic. During this research, I have
come across different situations, in which I had an experience that it is not a simple task as it

takes all the concentration on a particular topic. It helps me in gaining the capability to pay
attention to the details and subject issues on the current scenarios of the particular field, as
this can help in generating the knowledge and supports in identifying future opportunities in
the particular industry for me. This research has allowed me to evaluate the business of
electric vehicles, which is very popular among all of us. So, we can say this, with the help of
this research I have increased my skill to explore new things that surely guide me and informs
me about the different business areas. But I was not aware of certain technical words which
have been used by the writers in their articles or journals, and this has taken a lot of time, to
prepare this report. Moreover, time is the major element that has resisted me several times
and made it difficult for me to go into more detail regarding some issues or opportunities
which are related to the topic of electric vehicles. I have to go for different sources to get a
proper understanding of the subject and after this, I was able to formulate this report in the
best possible way. In beginning, I have not known the methods which should be utilized
while conducting research, and because of this, I got very much confused. Not only this, it is
important for the researcher to have complete information on the topic which have been
selected by the student. In my case, I have to study different books to get the relevant
knowledge on the working of the industry which I have discussed in my report. From this
report, I have learned that electric vehicles are the best method of transportation as it helps it
making the environment better. Furthermore, by using electric vehicles we directly or
indirectly support sustainability. This lesson has boosted my knowledge that excess use of
any natural resources can take it to the end, so we must follow such methods in our life which
support saving all of them for the future generation. It has also given me enormous
knowledge on the manufacturing of electric vehicles and its advantages for the people as well
as the company itself. On the other side, it gives me a brief idea regarding my ability to do
research. I have to work more on this side, as it will help in giving the best piece of
information for my further report. Along with this it also adds to my knowledge and makes
me more informed about current trending topics. Some skills also need to be enhanced, if I
want to attain better performance during research. I have to start focusing on communication,
as it will help me collect a verbal form of information from different individuals. It will also
support me in presenting my views to professors, and I will come across the issues and
mistakes which I am doing in my planning to do the research. Next, gathering the right or
relevant data is the key element in the preparation of the report, it will show the specification
of the statements which has been mentioned to me. The skill of problem-solving can make it
easy for me to bring the best outcome for the research will I conduct in the future. This will

provide me the ability to raise questions on topics which quite difficult for me to understand,
and allow me to discover the best solution for the same. Digital platforms could support me
in getting more specific information on the different issues and complexities of the topics. By
improving the skills which are mentioned here, I can make my research better and present a
detailed or descriptive report. The overall understanding of this research activity helps in
identifying the methods that will always support me in my further education or career. It has
presented me with all those points which can interrupt my performance in presenting the
reports.
Conclusion

technology. It has also explained the advantages and disadvantages of electric vehicles and
shows the current trends or situation of the industry. The highlight of the report is that electric

are creating hindrances in this. Bringing the best solution for this can result in the success of
all the companies which are dealing in electric vehicles. It has also described the role of
government to assist this idea in the nation and make it instruments to promote sustainability.
