INTRODUCTION
The term technology is referred as the application of scientific knowledge to the various
practical aims of the human aspects. Technology is being advanced day by day and it is used all
around the globe so as to perform the various activities and tasks in an easier manner. The
advancement in technologies and various software have developed the nation in a better version
making it more convenient and user friendly (Aygun and Kamalasadan 2022). The technology is
being used in various sectors such as, medicine, science, industrial sector and in Auto mobile sector
as well. One of the biggest example of technology being used in a wide variety is Electric cars.
These cars are man made creation and technical advancements which are opted by various people
so that they can increase their driving experience. This report is based on the popularity that have
been gained by these cars over the period of time along with the Advantages and disadvantages as
well.

TASK 1
The Electric cars was introduced around 100 years ago, these cars are being in a great trend
as they are being popular and more convenient for the users. These cars are playing a major role
nowadays as they are being opted by a large number of people so that they can experience a
different way of driving (Bureika Matijošius and Rimkus 2020). The electric vehicles are in a great
demand as it is a developed form of technology which is using various unique technological
advancements and other effective techniques to operate and to run (Bureika Matijošius and Rimkus
2020). In the Early part of the century various innovators in Hungary, Netherlands and USA
including the blacksmith from Vermont started a toying concept of a battery powered vehicle and
they initiated and created some of the first small scale electric cars. To realize the popularity of
electric vehicles, it is also essential to understand the improvement of the individualized vehicle
and the other options available in the market. At the early of the 20th century, the horse was still the
original mode of transportation. But as the Americans became more comfortable, they turned to the
newly made-up motor vehicle that was available in vapour, gasolene or electric versions to get
around and cover the distance. The electric vehicles came into the market and they had transformed
the version and view of looking towards the manual and other types of vehicles. The manual cars
are still in use as the large part of the global world is using the manual cars to drive which requires
a lot of effort to drive as the gears needs to be changed, they are needed to start with a hand crank
etc. The demand for electric cars is increasing day by day the various customers from different
segment of market are being attracted towards the production of the electric cars as they are the

most advanced and excellent form of technology which is being introduced for the customers. The
Auto mobile sector is rapidly changing over the period of times and it bing more dynamic and
potentially strong so as to make a well known reputed edition in the market. There are a lot of
electric cars segments which is launched by the Auto mobile sectors such as, Tesla (Fluchs 2020).
Tesla is one of they most popular brand which is manufacturing the electric cats so that the world
can switch to the proper use of technology along with the easier and convenient way to make their
lives a better version of what it is now. Investigation on electric car batteries have received a lot of
attention for skilfulness, economic, and biological reasons (Fluchs 2020). As a result, battery
performance has increased as well as lastingness, while the prices have gone down, making
electrical cars much more entrancing today than they were ten years ago. These Electric cars has
various features which can be captivating for the customers such as,
 Covering a large segment of market including the cars, Scotty and buses which are least
partially powered by electricity.
 These Electric cars are saving the climate and creating less impact as compared to the fuel
generated and pollution creating vehicles.
 These electric cars have convenience to drive and has different qualities such as, voice
command and button press guidance for most of the functions (Aygun and Kamalasadan
20220).
The Electric cars offers various features and benefits but along with that they have various
disadvantages too. These Electric cars have different pros and cons which are as follows
Advantages
The Electric cars are growing popular day by day. The key components are as follows.
 Electric cars are Energy efficient
These Electric cars are energy efficient as they uses the charging methods to run properly and they
can perform effectively and efficiently without any inconvenience to the users o that they can share
a good driving experience to its users without Wasting the energy resources .(Gigov Pavlov and
Stefanova-Pavlova 2022).
 Electric cars Reduce emissions
The Electric cars are Eco friendly and they does not create any harm to the Environment as the does
not Emit any harmful gases such as carbon and Nitrogen which can effect the environment in bad
way. As these cars run through the Electricity, they does not Effect the environment by generating
pollution.
 Low Maintenance

The Electric cars requires low maintenance as compared to the manual cars as they are easy to
maintain and they does not require any kind of spare part removal and other Gear work. These cars
only requires the effective and efficient battery which can perform with the best of uits potential so
that it can give an excellent mileage and can also cover the longer distance. The fuel and gas powers
engine cars requires a lot of maintenance and they are also quite high maintaining (Gigov Pavlov
and Stefanova-Pavlova 2022).
 High performing cars
The Electric cars are high performing vehicles whose motors are Quite effective and efficient and
they also requires less maintenance as compared to the manual cars. These cars react Quickly and
they also have Good pick up. The electric cars are now being an advantages as they are easy to
operate and they are also Quick at responding. These cars are also digitally good at connecting with
the charging stations and they can also be charged from various applications.
 No congestion charges
The electrical cars are introducing the clean air zones with a fees designed to Discourage the
polluting of vehicles from entering the certain areas. These cars are congestion free and it is a key
benefit that they can be exempt from these charges.
 Better Driving experience
The electronic cars have more responsive acceleration as compared to the manual cars and they
also have regenerative braking when the accelerator is easing off. These cars have low centre of
gravity which improves the handling and comfort to stay effective and efficient for a long run
performing in an excellent manner (Korzątkowski 2022).
Given below are some of the Disadvantages of the Electric cars which can Affect the various
aspects.
 The Batteries needs rare materials
The batteries of electric cars needs rare material such as lithium which is very rare and difficult to
find. It is the lightest metal and the lightest solid element which is found under the normal
conditions (Rotaris Giansoldati and Scorrano 2021). Chile is one the country which produces the
largest amount of Lithium. Many of the countries in Europe have stated that they are struggling to
create and manufacture the electric cars as they do not have the proper access to Lithium and they
are quite inactive to make the Batteries which are used to run the Electric cars.
 Making Electric cars creates more Emissions
There is a lot of Green house effect which is created when the Electric cars are manufactured. The
raw materials which is used in making the cars requires a lot of process which is needed to be
completed so as to move towards the next step. These raw materials are needed to be refined which
again emits more green house gases. These emission of green house gases creates a severe effect on

the Environment and they also creates a negative impact. This can also lead to the major health
issues as the emission of green house gases is quite harmful for the individuals (Liu Liu and Wang,
2021). These cars also creates the worse effect on the environment as compared to the fossil ones.
 Expensive to buy.
The Purchase price of the electric cars is high as compared to the manually designed cars as it takes
a lot of cost to maintain the functions of these cars and the charging points of the cars also costs a
huge amount of money. These cars are highly advanced and they requires a lot of functions which is
related with the high Class Quality soft wares and functions which are quite expensive to manage.
The most expensive part of the Electric cars are Battery which cost a huge amount to be inserted.
Most of the Batteries costs very high which is very expensive to be invested in (Korzątkowski
2022).
 Difficulty in covering the long distance.
The Battery technology is improving and they are also requiring a lot of energy and other typ[e of
things which are necessary to promote effective and efficient working of the electric cars. These
cars are usually less time consuming and they also do not require any manual support and
Guidance to perform. The Electric cars requires a lot of battery charging o as to make it function
and the effective charging should also be done in a proper manner o that it can cover the distance
without any issue and hindrances (Liu Liu and Wang 2021). Using the heaters and Air conditioners
in the cars can also reduce the performance of the electric cars as they hold less charge when its
cold and it creates difficulty for the engine to perform smoothly (Meenakshisundaram and Shankar
2018).
According to the Advantages and disadvantages various aspects of the Electric cars are stated. The
Electric cars are quite easy and faster to use. There are a lot of reasons which can support the Pros
of the Electric cars as they are, Cost effective, Environment friendly and they are also fun to drive
including the convenience which can help the customers from different segments of the markets to
Switch towards the Electric cars rather than sticking towards the manual ones.
One of the Great Example of Electric cars and their introduction in the Global world is Tesla which
is a well known brand manufacturing the Electric cars (Meenakshisundaram and Shankar 2018).
These cars are Excellent functioning having Impressive battery range, Easy and convenient to use
as well as Environment friendly. This model is being Quite effective in the Priority list of The High
class segment of the market sector as it has Exclusive features with premium comfort which can
provide the excellent value to the customers so that they can experience a better driving .(Rotaris
Giansoldati and Scorrano 2021).

before doing a research and starting of a new topic requires a lot of Knowledge and a detailed view
point to work upon the topic and its certain aspects. The above topic was quite new for me to
understand as I m a person who is very Curious and Inquisitive about learning new things, this
essay was a new experience for me as I have analysed and observed various aspects of technology
and Its advancements which is being increasing day by day. Technology is being more Effective and
efficient and its is being opted by various business and organisation so that they can gain the
maximum advantages and cam also perform their various tasks and activities in an easier form. For
conducting this Research, a lot of people helped m in the completion of this process. My friends
have suggested me various sites and articles which are available on internet so that I can read about
that and can gain knowledge so as to move further in completing my project. There are a lot of
online articles and Research sites which have helped me to be aware about the advancement of
technologies in different sectors such as the Auto mobile and the introduction and popularity of new
Electric cars which are being opted by various individuals from different segments of the market.
As I moved further in my topic I analysed a lot of advantages of opting the Electric cars as they are
Quite effective and fast, also they are easy to use and does not require any complex learning to run
them These cars are also being popular because of their benefits to use and they also provides great
comfort to the users. Along with that I ha e also observed some disadvantages of these Electric cars
as they are Quite expensive and they also Affects the environment when they are manufactured as
they emit a large amount of harmful gases which is Dangerous for the Environment as it can Cause
a lot of bad impact on the Surroundings. The Electric cars are quite Diversified as thy are having
various features which makes it more effective and efficient for the users so that they can Buy these
cars and can make their driving experience better. The Electric cars can not cover a longer distance
as it requires a lot of Battery requirement and the Battery charging is also the important part so as to
make the car Function properly. There are various applications which are used to charge the battery
so that it can run effectively and efficiently. Along with that I have also searched that it takes a lot of
requirement to produce the Battery of these cars as they are Quite difficult to be generated every
where. The Battery is manufactured by the material Lithium which is a rare material which is

required to produce the battery of these cars. The material Lithium is vary difficult to find as
various countries are having a problem in manufacturing these batteries as the Lithium is not
available in an Adequate amount. While conducting this research I have also faced various
problems and Challenges as it was Quite difficult to search for a different topic which is related to
the Diversified nature, along with that it was Quite new for ,me to conduct the research and to
analyse and evaluate the different aspects of the topic so as to Differentiate between the Pros and
cons which has further lead to a sense of complexity as it was Quite difficult to analyse the various
Pros and Cons as well as their Impacts on the environment as well as the individuals. Further more I
have learned a lot about the Technological advancements and improvements which are Required to
Adapt so that we can stay dynamic according to the needs and wants of the Globe.
For being effective and efficient in the research process I have to enhance my various skills which
can improve my ability to complete the projects on time along with the proper functioning. There
are a lot of skills which can be opted by me so that I can perform in a better way. These skills are,
Critical thinking, Reasoning skills, Analysing and evaluating skills so that I can be more effective
and efficient in completing my tasks and activities in a proper manner which can further lead top
the Betterment of my future. Being good at researches can help me in various ways as I can see
things from different point of view which will help ,me to increase my productivity. Along with that
the enhancing of my Current skills will also help me to encourage my Strengths and to improve my
Weaknesses so that I can achieve my personal and professional goals. The Opting of different steps
such as, Improving my Listening skills and Practising more to communicate and to express will also
be helpful in making people more understood regarding the point of view. Being more attentive
towards the details and paying more focus towards the Different aspects of the topic so that
knowledge can be gained which can be helpful in encouraging the Confidence and boosting the
morale so that I can be more effective and efficient towards my work.
