a) Introduction:
The first career episode of my CRD consists of the project report named Electrical
network Designing’. After the completion of my bachelor degree in Electrical and
Communication Engineering I worked on the project from the Arab University,
Beirut Lebanon. The project was started from January 2008 and it took six months
for the successful execution of the project. My duty as a team leader was to perform
all the project activities for successful execution of the project.

b) Background:
CE1.2 The main aim of the project was to design an electrical network of
commercial as well as residential area that includes 12 buildings, school, 143 villas
and a shopping mall. The design was to be made proficiently and it is required to
cover all the areas.
CE1.3 The electrical design of the summer resort village is introduced in the project.
The main components of the village contains:
1) 12 main buildings having 14 apartments for each
2) 143 villas of one level covering an area of 138.5 m2.
3) A school
4) Administration building
5) A shopping mall.
6) A playground
7) A swimming pool.
8) Street Lighting, Drainage and other facilities
6/11 kV transformer is used for feeding the village with electricity

CE1.4 According to the nature of my work a standard design is followed for the
estimation of the load. I designed the floor plan for each of the construction building,
and then designed the switch boards and found the place where they are required to
be installed and operated easily in each of the floor. I used the key data value for
creation of the project report and used the apt project execution procedures for
further advancement of the project.
CE1.5 Organizational structure:
My project team consists of three members and we reported directly to the
supervisor of the project. The project activities and the progress of the work was
discussed with the project supervisor. We are involved in discussion the question
arising in between the team member was clarified by the project supervisor.
CE1.6 The following duties consists in the project statement:
a) I prepared the project plan, project specification, and the project details
document responsibly.
b) I researched on the circuits, transformers types, circuit breaker and other
electrical components that are required to be included in the project
c) I inferred the specifications, architectural drawings, regulations, etc. for
proper utilization of electrical components.
d) All the project activities were collaborated and further examined to find out
any gaps that can hinder the project’s performance.

for mitigation of risk in the project. The voltage in the circuit are checked such that
they does not exceed the limit and equipotential platform are prepared for the
smooth operation of the electrical equipment’s connected in the circuit.
Different training programs was attended by me during the advancement of the
project because I found that the training are essential for gathering knowledge
about the electric network. The training program are regarding AutoCAD, Business
analytics and webinars. I also analyzed the new technology that can be applied in
the project for increasing the efficiency and followed the standards for maintaining
safety in the project execution.
I conducted regular communication and project supervisor and the stakeholders for
analyzing their requirement. I made a research on the internet for adding more
details in the project and in the operational review done at the end of week I
demonstrated the progress using power point presentation.
I researched the mitigation of the hazard that can be applied for increasing the
efficiency of the project. I listed the threats and risks correlated with the project and
prioritized them according to their severity. The impact of the risk was also
analyzed for the successful completion of the project.
At the end of the project I gathered new knowledge and I completed each of the
activity within the assigned deadline.
CE1.8 My technical knowledge and the engineering skill was used in the following
fields:
Following the benchmark for completion of the task and its sub tasks.
Using the TT earthing for safety of the people during emergency or high
power supply in the circuit.
Computation of the key values required for electrical calculation and develop
the project.
Following the standards of manufacturing and analyzing the operational
codes for using the electrical apparatus

CE1.10 Several adjustment was maintained by me for the proposed device for
increasing the reliability of the device and reduce the power loss in the network.
Correct and viable statistic values are used for the preparation of the project. The LT
community losses was also calculated for laying the cable under the ground. The
return of investment was also calculated for the deployment of the cable and I used
software program for preparing a block diagram. The internet was used for
enhancing the knowledge and clearing the doubt related with the development of
the project.
CE1.11
Various novel approaches were utilized for solving queries and managing the
project well. The design of the transformer was prepared by me and the area was
selected for placing the transformed. The engineering books and the journals were
studied for the preparation of the design. A fault test was conducted for the
dispersion of the feeder for the five transformers, the distance was also evaluated in
between the transformers and the villas. I also computed the voltage drop between
the main cable and the transformer.
CE1.12
The project team member worked under me maintained a regular communication
and shared knowledge between themselves for the successful execution of the
project. The problem queries during the successful execution of the project were
communicated and the team members are allowed to share their opinion for
resolving the problem.
d) Summary
CE1.13 I used my expertise for the development of the project and as a result I
gathered some technical knowledge. The project also helped me to improve the
project management abilities and leadership skill for that would help me in future
project development.
