Why should the kid channel think about producing the electronic media and other products
for the infant customers?
As an expert on the children media for ‘The Kid Channel’, production of thee shows
and relevant products for the infants are essential for the product development of the channel.
The channel should think about the infant customers since the product marketing has induced
the interest in the child customers (CBS, 2007). This is because the discretionary income of
the children and their influence or power for influencing the purchasing decisions of their
parents have increased over the time. Furthermore production of the electronic media and
products for infant customers will be beneficial for the increased number of audience for the
digital interactive technologies since it will open new routes for narrowing of the cast to the
children, thereby developing and creating a space for the growing media for the infants and
their products.
How young is too young to watch television?
The concept of the intellectual stimulation of the children by watching videos and
products in the channels are wrong according to the American Centre of paediatrics. Children
should not be put in front of the television before 2 years of age since they are too young to
watch television (CBS, 2007). Children should often interact with humans for their effective
development of their brains. It is thus essential to “turn it off” the channels since they are
disrupting and affecting the brain of the infants.
