Similarly like beginning of most of the Australian cities, initially Perth was imagined
into the pastoral mould and was sold to the earliest settlers on this basis. The story
about early settlement of Perth happens to be a hard one with imagery of the Arcadian
fading fast side by side noting about the poor soils and its reality, isolation and drought
that took the toll.
Initially unlike the other cities of Australia, Perth develop as one of the commercial
private enterprise that perhaps sowed the seeds of subsequent mentality of
development.

The project of Elizabeth Quay is an exciting
project of a new waterfront within the boundaries
of the banks of Swan River.
This place would consist of island playgrounds,
public artwork, BHP Billiton Water Park, open
spaces, promenades and wide range of
restaurants and bars.

STUDY OF THE SITE
The design of Elizabeth Quay is a
redevelopment program of Perth. The
Authority of Metropolitan
Redevelopment study proves that the
main aim behind Elizabeth Quay is to
develop Perth and at the same time
ensure betterment of the already
existing places.

The promenades would be a primary open space for
the publics of quay. Station parks located just
opposite to Esplanade Train Station would be the
entrance for the waterfront project.
The landing which a major element of the plan will
be located at middle point of New Riverside.

LITERATURE REVIEW
As per (Dujmovic, 2018) the quality of water into the estuarine systems and urbanized
river in under threat of modifications and a range of pollutants on the landscape. The
importance of preserving quality of water systems has been recognized among
decision and policy makers within planning of the frameworks of policies.
Although, there is a need for reconciling such quality of water with objectives of
tourism and economy that drive the objectives associated with development of the
traditional waterfronts.

DATA COLLECTION METHODS
In order to conduct a research, information about the topic are to be gather by a
process known as data collection (Levine et al. 2018.) There are four types of data
collection method those are:
1.Individual Interviews.
2.Focus Groups.
3.Observations
4.Action Research.
