Descriptive Essay
The essay speaks about an imminent person in the world of technology. The inventions of
occurred under the supervision of the person are groundbreaking in the world of transport. The
name of the person is Elon Musk. He is the founder of tech companies namely SpaceX, Tesla,
Neuralink, The Boring Company and OpenAI.
Elon Musk was born in South Africa on 28th June 1971. His father was an
electromechanical engineer. Mr. Musk received his degree of graduation from the University of
Pennsylvania. After his graduation, he did internships in several organization in Silicon Valley.
Before founding Zip2 Corporation, first company of Elon Musk, he dropped out of the PhD
course he enrolled for with eagerness of pursuing the opportunities generated due to the internet
boom. Elon Musk has been involved in various technology related projects but the concept of
space exploration and establishment of SpaceX marked his success in the world of technology.
SpaceX produces rocket engines and produces several spacecraft for NASA and one of them is
Dragon space craft. Apart from space transport vehicles (SpaceX 2018). Elon Musk invested to
improve the transport system in the world and thus founded Tesla with a vision of pushing the
world transport system towards using renewable source of energy (Tesla.com 2020).
Contribution of Elon Musk in the world technology is undeniably significant and
effective. Currently, the cost of electric vehicles are on the higher side but the day is not far when
the goal of Elon Musk of powering the transport system with the renewable energy source is
achieved.

Narrative essay
“Experience is the best teacher”, I heard of this phrase many times from my father. He
always used to tell me if you want to grow in the life, you need to experience new things. I never
paid enough heed to those words but recently I came across an event that taught me the value of
that phrase.
Last week, I and one of my friend went for a movie. My father was out of town then and
he took the only car we have. Thus, I had to take public transport to reach the theater. The theater
in which I went was about 30 kilometer from my house. My friend with whom I went for the
movie, stays near that theater. We were about to meet at 11o’clock in the morning half an hour
prior to the show timing. I need mention that I never used to take public transport while going
that far. I had estimated that the public transport would take around 45 minutes to reach the
place, which is 15 minutes more than a usual car drive. Unfortunately, it took 90 minutes as the
bus got broke in the mid-way and due to that, I reached 15 minutes after the show timing.
Astoundingly, my friend did not reacted much due to my late arrival. Rather, he told that he
guessed I ought to have got into some problem and that is why reached late.
I learned that we should not judge a situation by our perspective only, which I used to do
earlier and misbehaved with many. It is better to try to understand others’ problem and think
from their perspective too. It will help to keep the harmony between us.
