Respected sir/madam
This mail is written to you for reconsidering my plea for appointing me as the deputy
charge nurse in correctional services of the Ministry of home affairs and National Security. My
former application has been rejected on the grounds of my ineligibility, as I am not a Senior Staff
Nurse with Salary Scale 8. However, it would be helpful if you consider the situation again after
giving a glance to the background of the situation.
I have completed my Masters of Science in Management (Generic) at the University of
Chester. However, I was not been able to be present at the official graduation ceremony for
which I could not receive my transcript. Therefore, I could not forward it to the HR of my
currently working healthcare center namely Mater Dei. In the healthcare center, i am already
performing all the duties of the senior staff nurse through seniority. I am supervising as well as
managing the staff members in the night shift and even caring for the critical patients in the
observation admission ward. We provide the first line of care after shifting of the patients from
the emergency ward to our ward. Once, I will be able to submit the transcript to the HR
department, I will be appointed for the role of Senior Staff Nurse with Salary Scale 8. I am
already performing the duties of the said role and the absence of documentation of the mu degree
has prevented the department for giving me the post. They have promised that once I get the
transcript, I will be appointed to the said role in a formal way.

In terms of experience, I also have the proper experience for which I can prove my
caliber in the post I applied. I have been working Corradino Correctional Facility as part time
nurse for over 4 1/2 years and I have the skills that are important to care for the inmates. I work
collaboratively with the inmates and correctional officers for promoting therapeutic
environments and providing the best ethical and safe care to them in professional yet
compassionate manners.
I, therefore, would request you to please go over the points I just suggested and
reconsider my plea for the post. I would be grateful if you consider the situations and the
experiences and thereby help me to get the opportunity I am seeking. I would be obliged if you
kindly do the needful and help me to pursue my dream.
