Introduction
This report will discuss regarding the background of the entire case study. This report is
also concerned with the identification of the system archetypes that will be benefitting in
identifying the issues that are present. A discussion regarding the existing value stream map is
provided in this report as well. This report also provides an understanding of the structure that is
needed to be taken care for bettering of the efficiency of the treatment process, so that the time
that is required for completion of the treatment time to its half.
Background
Value stream map is used for bettering of the understanding process of the functional
process of the treatment procedure that is followed. There has been an arising of issue regarding
the time that is taken for the completion of the treatment process. This has been the major reason
that the patients are complaining. The higher authorities of the hospitals are considering to
review the value stream map, in an order that the time that is taken for completion of the
treatment process gets half of the time that is required. Implementation of system archetype tools
have been the process for reaching to the solution. After identifying the issues that are present in
the processing of the current value stream map evaluation is to be made and changes are to be
incorporated.

Out of these system archetypes, limit to growth, eroding of goal and tragedy of commons will be
used for detecting the issue that is present in the existing values stream map. Escalation and
shifting of burden system archetypes will be used for mitigating the issue that is present in the
system.
Limit to growth is concerned with a particular method that is to be followed. As per the
archetype of limit to growth the main issue that is present includes the aspect that proper
administration of the terminology. This continuously application of the desired state. The
solution can be made as per the basic reinforcement of the loop that will be performed as per the
intended growth result. This influences the functioning process of the action. This creates
slowing of the action. This is one of the major reason that better understanding of the stock and
flow version will be made. This casual structure will ensure that specific system setting is not
performed in a proper manner. As per the stated case study the main issue that is stated includes
the fact that a set of guidelines are included. This is one of the prime concern that will ensure that
proper administration of the data segmentation is performed. This ensures that the issue that is
present in following the guidelines that are stated in the hospital, delay in the treatment is
created. This has been the major issue that impedes the performance of the entire system. This
includes the fact that proper understanding of the data administration will be performed as per
the processing of the rules and guidelines that are to be followed. Hence delay is created. As per
the limit to the growth aspect the main aspect that is contemporary comprises the fact that the

the processing of the treatment in the emergency department, this ensures the aspect that the
delay in the treatment process is identified.
Eroding of goals are also one of the prime concern that is taken into consideration
includes that commencing of the treatment process in the emergency treatment processing. As
per the commencement of the goals that are set the main issue that is brought in includes the fact
that the data regarding the commencing of the goals get diverged from the goal that was initially
set. This is one of the main reason that the goal that is set initially gets deformed, leading to the
failure in the project that is being undertaken (Roshani & Mobin 2016). In this case, it can be
stated that the goal of the emergency department is to treat the patients in an urgent basis. This

The evaluation is done from the current map of the healthcare emergency department as
per the various system archetypes. The information is seen to highlighting the data for patients
with numerous records of the healthcare. This has also involved the data of the attendance of
nurses with attending the physical and insurances companies. Apart from this, the relationship
that has been occurring between various treatments has been present denoting the insurance
companies and hospital records.
Apart from this, the data about the presence of nurses has been delivered by visiting the
doctors. Apart from this, various material flow is found out from this map. Next, various
elements of the channels has been including the patient registration and then accessing the

nurse has been found to evaluating the patients having important statistics. This can be retrieved
from the patient’s history. In this way the patents has been able to make the registration of the
patients with the type of investigation.

The patient visits the hospital and registers himself, after registering the data the data is
stored in the cloud. After the data gets stored the data is accessed by the nurse whom will be
attending the patient. The physical attendant and the doctors at the same time gains access to the
data that are stored in the cloud. After reaching the ER room the nurse examines the patient and
then the doctor does the same. In this process the phase overlapping has been done and hence the
time that is required in completion of the treatment process decreases. The insurance company in
other hand, the main aspect gets the data that are stored in the hospital data record and hence
compares the same with the data that are provided via cloud and hence the financial process
begins and gets completed.

The positive aspect that is present includes the fact that proper data circulation can be
performed.

Conclusion
System thinking tools are considered as a prime concern that provides better
understanding of the data processing system. This processing of the implementation of the
system thinking system archetypes are one of the prime concern that provides proper solution to
the issues that will be detected. This detection of the provisioning of the issue helps in better
understanding of the section where the issue lies. Value stream map is a functional process that is
used for better planning of the working process. In this case an existing value stream map is to be
evaluated. This evaluation of existing value stream map will ensure that the functioning process

the main reason that a new value stream map will be designed that will be providing higher
