This project report, submitted to the University of Calicut, investigates the impact of e-commerce on emerging markets, specifically focusing on Decathlon's presence and influence on college students in Thrissur. The study explores the effectiveness of e-commerce, customer awareness of Decathlon, and Decathlon's role within the e-commerce landscape. Utilizing both primary data collected from college sports students via cluster sampling and secondary data from the internet and books, the research employs a descriptive study to analyze consumer behavior, preferences, and concerns related to online shopping. The report includes detailed data analysis, interpretation, findings, suggestions, and a conclusion, providing insights into the advantages and challenges of e-commerce in the context of a specific brand and demographic. The project covers various aspects, including customer satisfaction, preferred payment methods, product authenticity, and overall perceptions of Decathlon's e-commerce platform.
