process and it steps that have been implemented in the Emirates Airline.
The objective of making recommendations at the end of the project, have also been
achieved. After the completion of the analysis and interpretation of the data gathered the,
necessary recommendations have been made for the organisation, which will help in
enhancing the recruitment and selection process of the cadets in the organisation.
5. Recommendations
It is recommended to the Emirates Airlines that they should try to enhance their recruitment
process for cadets. They should focus on reducing the lengthy process, which consists of
several steps. The organization should focus on removing those steps which are not that
important, which will make the recruitment process more effective and efficient. Besides this
it will also help in improving the morale of the cadets.
Besides this it is also recommended that the organization should give more time to complete
the application process for the recruitment process. Though it have emerged from the survey
that cadets were satisfied from the briefing instructions for the online application process and
speed of reply form EK should also be increased for the online application process.
In the phase of Numeric and Physics test, it is recommended that the organization should
focus on the speed of reply from the EK in order to enhance the morale of the candidates.
Oh the other hand cadets seem to be content with the time given to complete the test.
Briefing instructions for the numeric and physics test should be improved in order to make
the cadets clear about the test related queries.
It is also recommended to the airlines that they should communicate with the cadets
frequently, in order to keep them informed about the next phase. Speed of reply in the Pre

process of the Airlines such as numerical tests, medical tests, psychometric tests and
interview.
Other objective to seek opinion of recently recruited cadet has also been achieved by
conducting the online survey. Which have helped in the overall evaluation of the recruitment
process and it steps that have been implemented in the Emirates Airline.
The objective of making recommendations at the end of the project, have also been
achieved. After the completion of the analysis and interpretation of the data gathered the,

Screening Medical Test should be increased so that cadets do not feel ignored, which may
create wrong image of the brand in the mind of the people.
The briefing instructions in the psychometric test should be enhanced, for making it clear to
the candidates what they are required to do. Besides they need to enhance the speed of
reply from EK here as well. Otherwise this can have bad impact on the morale of the
candidates may showcase that the organization is not that efficient as it claims to be.
At the time of interview, the airlines should pay close attention to the briefing instructions and
speed of reply form EK in order to make the interview phase go smoothly without any error.
This will be helpful in the creation of a brand image which will have positive impact on the
reputations of the airlines and it will continue to attract skilled people from different fields.
6. Implementation Plan
Several recommendations have been made above regarding the recruitment process of
cadets. These recommendations will be helpful only when Emirates Airlines will be able to
implement it in their current recruitment process. As it have been discussed while giving
recommendations that the organization need to reduce the steps in the recruitment process
of cadets. Emirates airlines can shorten and merge some of the tests in one single test, and
by distributing the number of questions for every topic equally; an efficient test framework
should be devised. This will help the organization to make the recruitment process of cadets
more effective and efficient, which will be able to select the right candidate. Merging some of
the tests will help the airlines to save a lot of time of the candidates and as well of the
organization itself, which it can invest other important areas of operations.
A whole review of the recruitment process will help in achieving the objective. After in depth
analysis of the different phases, those phases which can be merged can be identified and
then the organization can come up with a one or two test instead of having several single
tests. This will help the organization in screening more and more candidates, which will allow

the organization to have a workforce with excellent knowledge, skills and abilities and in the
long run will give competitive edge to the Emirates Airlines.

7.1 Project Evaluation
Review of literature have showed and explored different ways in which HR practices have
influence, over the employees of the organization. In the study it have been found that,
recruitment and selection also have impact on the employees and which help the employees
to create a brand image of the organization they are going to join. Review of literature shows
that different practices of HR have positive effect on the employees.
During the data collection phase, sample size was 30 only. It may be possible that the study
is not able to represent the feelings of the organization as a whole. Scope of the research
was limited to only employees of UAE, and findings may change with the change in area and
landscape.
During the analysis and interpretation stage, it was quite difficult to manage and interpret the
data and present them efficiently in the report. It have been come to the surface that the
process of recruitment and selection is very lengthy and it needed to be reduced, in order to
make it effective and efficient.
While winding up it was realized that it needs patience and time to gather all the information
and then present it, so other can also be benefited from the study. The research one on the
recruitment and selection process of the cadets in the Emirates Airlines, will be useful for
other researchers who will undertake research in the future. It will provide overview of the
recruitment process and will also provide recommendations how it can be made better.
The research dairy was much helpful at every stage of the research. It helped to keep the
research activities, in line with the time duration in which the particular parts of the
organization was required to be completed. In brief research log, helped the research to be
completed in due time. Everything that was required to be achieved and analyzed have been

1. Research Question
The research question for this research paper is to examine the effectiveness of the
recruitment process for cadet pilots at Emirates airlines.
1.1Background to the Research question
The Emirates Airlines is mindful of the changes in demographics as structure of population
by numbers, areas, luxuriousness and age may have a significant bearing over the interest in
specific or general administrations and items (Rankin). The team is ought to be aware of
culture of the travellers and give administration to enjoyment of client. It is commonly
observed that Emirates Airlines gives a lot of hard work for verifying that each of the general
public is provided equal opportunities for exploiting the assets that are provided by
association.
1.2 Research Objectives
Examine current recruitment process for cadet pilot
Compare with a model of best practice
Seek opinion of currently recruited cadet pilot on process of recruitment (survey)
Make recommendation to improve the process
1.3 Justification for your choice of Research topic
For airline to be ahead of the citation along with conforming to consistently evolving
regulations and policies of industry, a constant demand is there always for improving the
operations of airline while making sure that efficiency and safety (Goatly, et al., 2000). It
requires the recruitment process for cadet pilot to be thorough and rigorous. Therefore, it is
necessary to examine the effectiveness of the recruitment process for cadet pilots at
Emirates airlines.
2. Methodology
2.1 Research Methodology
The quantitative technique to collect the data is used for generating outcomes which are
easy to summarize, compare and generalize data collection is done by using primary and
secondary methods.
2.2 Secondary Research.
A lot of information is collected by making use of online journals, articles, research papers,
dissertations, research reports, newspaper articles, journals, and books.
2.3 Primary Research
Questionnaires were developed online for the research survey for customers and business
and sent via mail to respected participant.
2.4 Primary Research Data Collection Plan
Online questionnaires were designed for the research to obtain the data from selected
sample that was developed by making use of service of google Form. New forms were put to
use for data collection and the identity of the respondent were protected. The links which
were developed were uploaded on social sites and were sent to contacts through
messengers.30 respondents were chosen for this study.

3.2 Risk Management
Risk management in recruitment process of Emirate Airlines is a process to develop actions
and options for enhancing the opportunities and reducing the threats for the projects
objectives of hiring and selecting the cadet pilot. Implementation of risk mitigation is a
process to execute the actions for risk mitigation. Monitoring process of Risk mitigation
involves tracking of identified risks, evaluating the effectiveness of risk process all through
the project.
3.3 Quality Management
Monitoring and controlling is a kind of assessment and evaluation and it happens after
commencement of intervention all through the intervening course or in between the
intervention (Vespermann, et al., 2016). No standard methods and tolls for monitoring are
there as they vary as per the kind of objective and intervention in program.

Use of Online Questionnaire can exclude those people who are not in direct use of internet
(Ismail, et al., 2017). There is no reliability of correct answers being given by the respondents
due to limited resources and time. Also all tolls of engagement to social media are not
