Analysis of Emirates Airlines Cadet Recruitment Process Data

This report presents an analysis and interpretation of data collected from a survey of 30 cadet pilots at Emirates Airlines, focusing on the efficiency and effectiveness of their recruitment process. The study examines various stages, including online applications, numeracy and physics tests, pre-screening medical tests, psychometric tests, interviews, TOEFL tests, and GCAA medical appointments. Data analysis, presented through bar graphs and pie charts, reveals cadet satisfaction levels with different aspects of the process, such as time to complete, clarity of instructions, and speed of response. Key findings highlight the importance of clear briefing instructions across all stages, while also identifying areas for improvement, particularly in the speed of reply from Emirates Airlines. The report provides a detailed breakdown of each stage, offering insights into the cadets' perceptions and experiences, and ultimately evaluating the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.

Data Interpretation and Analysis
In this chapter, analysis and interpretation of the data collected through the questionnaire will be
done. The objective of the research was to examine the efficiency and effectiveness of the
recruitment process regarding the cadet pilots in the Emirates Airlines. 30 cadets of the Emirate
Airlines were the participants in the survey. They were required to fill the questionnaire and
given rating on a 6 point scale ranging from 6 (Very effective) to 1 (Very poor). Questionnaire
was designed to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruitment process of the cadets
in terms of duration of time, clear instructions, speedy reply and other thing that are quite good
in the air lines.
Recruitment process of the cadets in the Emirates Airlines was analyzed on the basis processes
that are present in the airlines and tried to gather information by survey method, what does the
cadets have to say about the process of the Airlines such as numerical tests, medical tests,
psychometric tests and interview. Data analysis have been done with the help of Bar Graphs and
Pie charts, which represents the effectiveness of the recruitment process of the Emirate Airlines.

It have been found that above 70% people are satisfied with the recruitment process. The study
almost had equal balance of 53% males and 47% females, as given in the table below.

It is clear from the above graph that, most of the cadets are satisfied by the briefing instructions
provides during the recruitment process, completion time of online application is not very fast,
same is the response for speed of reply.

It can be analyzed form the graph given above that ample amount of time is given for completion
of numeracy and physics. Besides that cadets are satisfied with the briefing instructions and reply
of speed from EK.

It can be analyzed from the above data that time for the completion of the pre-screening medical
is enough and cadets are satisfied with that and they are also fine with the briefing instructions
given at the time of test. Whereas speed of reply is an issue here also.

It can be analyzed that cadets think that tie given for the psychometric test is enough. Briefing
instructions given at the time of the test are also clear, but the cadets have given very low score
to the speed of reply from EK.

It can be analyzed that, cadets think ample amount of time is taken for the interview stage in the
recruitment process and various instructions related to the interview were also clear and
understandable. Whereas speed of reply from EK was not so good.

It can be analyzed that there is ample amount of time given for the TOEFL Test, while recruiting
the cadets and briefing instructions are also very clear but the speed of reply from EK need to be
improved.

It can be analyzed that, time for the completion of the GCAA medical appointment is good
enough according to the cadets and briefing instructions are also very clear, speed of reply is also
good in this case, according to the cadets.
