1. Executive Summary
The purpose of this report is to provide an idea about the organization which is related
to the making of cloud-based wireless access control systems. There is various provision that
involves a variety of business and consumer services. Through the process of cloud base
wireless access control system, the organizations will help in the extension of computer
provisions which will help in the facilities of Information Technology of the consumer
services that will be available in the cloud. Thus, the concept will help in the extension of
Enterprise Architectures (EA) that will help in scaling up the technical architectures that will
help in the integrating of existing infrastructure.
2. Introduction
The assignment aims to provide a brief idea about the cloud base wireless access
control system that will help in the computing of massively scalable IT-enabled capabilities
that will further help in delivering the services to the external customers who are using
Internet technologies. In the current market structure, there is a huge demand in various
regions that will help the computer resources which does include software, networking,
hardware, etc. The large organizations are usually drawn to use of cloud technologies and
infrastructure, recently the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are now using the
Cloud Computing technology so that there it will help in the interaction of the general
public1. The organization will provide the solution that will have patience, passion, and
endurance, that will make the organization successful.

3. Description of the Entrepreneurial Venture
In the new era of digitalization, most organizations are shifting to the wireless access
control system that will help in time-consuming and there is also a competitive edge to the
global world. Emori is a cloud base wireless access control system that is used for better
security purposes2. It is an electromechanical lock that is designed to perform the locking and
the unlocking operations of the door. These are like the usual traditional locks that do have
the two parts, one is lock and the other is key. If compared to the other commercial smart
locks, Emori is one of the best alternatives as it can be accessed and managed from anywhere.
Emori is an innovative access control developer which usually develops and designs
products for the modern world. It is the flagship keyless access control system, which can be
controlled by the smartphone we use. It converts the smartphone into a key through which the
lock can be controlled, it can be accessed over the web that will have to transform access
control for the organization and also for the homeowners3. There will be the support of the
standard administrators which have a 5 Active directory that will help in synchronizing the
google users, Azure, Coworking Software. The event storage will be provided which will
have 120 days of exporting and 120 days of alarm web, which will help in dashboard
lockdown, Web dashboard support and also standard support. The basic administrators will
have one event storage for support standard of 30 days. The things that will help in setting up

One of the important aspect that has to be considered of the Emori is that it can extend
the system which will allow the process to be automated. The basic key card entry that will
be used in the system can offer the lower upfront costs, but they will be likely lead to the
daily hours of the work that is being spent in issuing the cards manually4. These can happen
due to the inability which is being remotely managed the dashboard, but the security risk of
the organizations is the possibility the higher. All the factors that have been discussed above
should be considered at the time of estimating the prices of door entry system5. Emori will
make life easier for the employees and members of those who are using it as it is the keyless
entry system, one of the interesting facts is that it saves both the time and money for the
administration.
4. Management
4.1. Legal Structure: One of the most important decisions that the entrepreneurs choose
is for the organization is a proper legal structure. There are various complexities which
can be faced at the time of making the organizational structure which includes the
owner’s liabilities and consequences of taxes. Certain aspects should be considered at the

 Administrative costs that are needed at the time of setting up, and also the maintenance
cost needed for the organization.
 Tax effectiveness in the structure of the organization.
 Liability exposure.
 Staff and employees for recruitment.
Emori is structured as a proprietary limited company (Pty Ltd.) as it is within
Australia. In this structure of organization, it makes the organization effective as it is
considered as the separate legal entity6. This structure usually helps in the asset protection of
the owner from liability and debt, at the time when the assets of the organization is at the risk
at any event of taking any legal actions. This structure is usually flexible and it does allow the
organization which will enter into the business with unrelated parties that the organization
can obtain with the additional capital.
4.2. Operational Management: Emori is managed by the owner. As he is the only one
founder, he is considered as the director of organization7. There will be a separate joint
venture that will be in contract with the applicable terms and conditions that will be
signed upon the development of the organization.

5. Marketing
5.1. Target Market: The target market for the Emori in that region is mainly the office
and the multi stored residential buildings which include the elevators, front doors and the
side doors8. Emori also works in the residential buildings, usually complexes where there
are people that get in and out of the building. Emori does not focus on the apartment
doors, it gives more attention to the public and private organizations.
5.2. Marketing Plan: Emori uses several platforms for the marketing plan. Some of the
platforms are mentioned below:

The pricing model is being done on both the basis of hardware and software. In
hardware, there is the need of the Emori reader Pro that will be mounted in the wall that is
next to the door and there is the Emori Controller Pro, that will stay in the IT room9. In the
case of Software, it includes the dashboard of Emori management and mobile credentials.

The license will be provided as per the users and per door, which will be provided on a
monthly, annually or multiyear basis.
5.3. Level of Complexity: The access control system is not created equally. There can be
a system that will help in enabling the employees and visitors in entering the premises,
this is known as the basic form as standalone access control, which is being programmed
at doors for the control10. There is also a door access control system through where there
is a door system keypad. In the old days, the traditional keys have become relics in the
past as it is because it is very easy to replicate. Thus, for that reason, the basic access
control requires the installation of keypads, identification of cards, card readers and also
the electronic controller.
6. Competitor analysis
In analyzing the competitors of industry, it can be assisted with the improvement of
the strategy of Emori, which will help the organization to remove the threats they are facing
from both the direct and indirect competitors11. There can be also some new entrants in this
type of industry. The five forces that have been identified of the Porter that will make the
competitive environment is a positive way and will also help in the profitability. The items
that include the Porter’s five forces are Competitor Rivalry, Supplier Power, Buyer Power,

the competitive rivalry and also the threat to the new entrants which has been discussed
below.
6.1. Competitor Rivalry: In the current market structure, the app industry has grown so
fast through which there is a rise in competitiveness in the market. In the last five years, it
can be seen that there is a huge increase in the app organizations that will certainly
increase the market nature to be more competitive.
6.2. Threat to the new entrants: In recent days, there has been a launch of more than
1000 apps per day12. Thus, there are certain highlight which is needed so that it helps in
differentiating the product and also it will help in the positioning the product in the
marketplace so that the consumers will have the choice of Emori in the market place.
7. Financial Analysis
Breakdown of Cost
Emori will help in providing a seamless access control experience in the office,
though at the time of set up it is considered as one of the crucial parts which sometimes are
overlooked13. Emori is the one who started the installation of electrified locks that is related
to the hardware and it is seen as the largest line item. The source of funds in the startup cost
are from crowdfunding option of $ 5,00,000 and from debt loan of $ 2,00,000. The total
expenses are of $ 4,42,200. The return on investment for the 1st year is 17%, for the 2nd year

20% and for 3rd year is 21%. The profit after the tax for the 1st year is $ 77,630, for 2nd year $
98,312 and for 3rd year is $113,622.
8. Key risks and challenges
The challenge that has been addressed by Emori is that we always run into problems
and there must be a solution for them. At the time of solving the problem, sometimes there
can be repetitive work, but most of the time it is not, there can be a new staff that has been
aris14. In solving the problem, we get the best effort to get the best solution that is possible
and as per that the decisions have been made. The same goes for starting their own business,
there will be surprises every day that will be faced by the owner and higher management.
There are many occasions in problem-solving, sometimes it is a good way, but most of the
times it can be very challenging and problematic15. The market of the app industry is getting
bigger with better budgets and market, so it is very vital to consult with the professionals
those who have a proper knowledge about the market, they can easily guide about the
marketing aspects.
