Introduction
The emotional intelligence skill play significant role in case of driving positive culture in
the workplace (Serrat, 2017). It also plays a critical role in case of meeting the emotional needs
of individuals in the workplace, which ensures the high productivity and employee engagement
in the workplace. The study has been developed on the emerging situation in BizOps Enterprises.
Examining the situation in BizOps Enterprises, it has been identified that due to lack of
communication between the managers and employees, not only the organizational relation is
getting hampered, but also it is driving negative productivity rate. In this study, the impact of
improper organizational culture on an employee namely Anton’s behavioral characteristics have
been highlighted. Depending on thee self-reflective survey, strength and weaknesses of mine can
be analyzed, which can help me to understand my emotional intelligence skills. In this study, a
mentoring plan has been introduced for satisfying the emotional needs of Anton.

Question 1
Emotional intelligence skills have become necessary for ensuring the positive culture as
well as productive organizational environment (LIEVENS & Chan, 2017). Analyzing the
emerging situation in BizOps Enterprises, it has been identified that due to improper working
environment as well as ineffective leadership practices, maximizing the relationship between
management and the employees has become the major concern in the workplace. In order to
understand individuals’ ability towards adapting the emotional intelligence skills in this working
environment, survey has been conducted. Being a team leader of customer service in BizOps
Enterprises, I have also participated in the self-survey process. After conducting the survey, self-

which can help me in terms of encouraging my team members towards achieving the goals,
which indirectly influence the productivity rate in the company. Empathy is being considered as

management skills and ineffective leadership abilities, it will be tough for me to complete my
