Subject: Reflection over emotional intelligence
Understanding of the emotional intelligence as the part of effective learning for leadership
affects overall personality of a leader. Present dynamic and challenging environment of the
organisational development require effective command over the emotional intelligence and
learning. Leadership based on emotional intelligence facilitates the leaders to manage
challenging situations by making an effective balance between the strength and weakness of
self.
After the completion of emotional intelligence assessment and understanding all the essential
aspects and important factors of developing the emotional intelligence, I am writing this
memo to represent the changes I notice in my behaviour. This report helped me to evaluate
personal weakness and challenges I faced to manage the leadership and implementation of
the emotional intelligence to identify the positive strength of my personality to deal the
challenges.
Emotional intelligence is the capability to be wisely in adjustment with my feelings and
myself, it also includes having sound situational awareness as powerful and essential tool to
lead the team of followers. A self-motivated leader has effective potential to lead the team
and awareness about the situation and challenges with effective strategies in mind are

important part of the emotional intelligences. The act of expressing, learning, and replying to
emotions, overwhelming pressure in the critical situations, and having an idea about the use
of motivational words to guide and lead the employees by playing tricks to use their strength
is part of emotional intelligence.
Five important attributes I noticed important in the emotional intelligence in the Emotional
Intelligence Assessment are

Effective communication
Self-awareness about my personal strengths is related to the deep understanding skills, and
eagerness to learn new things I found supportive to deal the challenging situations.
I have command over the communication and skills to manage tone of communication,
motivational tone inspire the listeners with zeal and enthusiasm. Effective toe of
communication attract the listeners to perform according the command or instructions. A
leader understands the importance of behaviour understanding and using the same for the
work. I have effective potential to relate behaviors and defies of emotional intelligence on
workshop presentation is an enormous benefit in construction of an excellent group. Most
common factor leads to holding problems is communication shortages creating disconnection
and distrust. Hence, I think to use effective and open means of communication to make
effective management of the teams.

weaknesses sometimes affect my presentation in the team and leadership skill because
understanding and bond with followers helps a leader to make effective relations and
exceptional team. Hence, I need to work on these factors to lead effectively and because
emotional intelligence play a vital role to decide the development of an organisation.
