Introduction
The main role of the teacher is to provide instructions related to classroom to help the
children for better learning. For proving the better instructions, the teacher should make effective
lesson. It is also required by teacher to give rank and proper feedbacks to the students. In
addition, it is also essential to manage class materials as well as navigate the curriculum in
productive manner. It is also a duty of teacher to make collaboration with staff of school. In the
following parts, role and context of teaching profession, problem of teaching practice, and need
of changes in teaching profession is discussed and examined. This paper also evaluates aims of
project, guiding questions as well as conclusion.
Background: roles and context
There is significant role of teacher in the career of students. The teacher plays significant
role in life of the students in classroom. It can see that the teacher is best known for part of
teaching the students. In addition, the teacher also serves different roles in the class (Ryan, et. al,
2016). Teacher plays an important role in setting the tone of the classes, building the sincere
along with peaceful atmosphere. The teacher is like a mentor for the student because he or she
help them in nurturing. The teachers are role models for their students. In this way, it is duty of
teachers to listen them carefully. The teachers should look for the sign of their problems as well
as difficulties. The teacher should try to solve these issues or problems in the best possible
manner (Ginsberg, Gasman & Samayoa, 2017).
Further, the most general part a teacher plays in the classroom is to teach awareness as

relevant knowledge is dispensed to the student (Arslan, 2019). It is evident that the teacher
teaches in different manners involving lectures, hands-on learning undertakings along with
smaller group-activities. Furthermore, the teacher also plays significant role in a class while it
talks about the environment. Sometimes the children often make mimicry of the actions of
teacher. It can say that when the teacher makes happy and warm atmosphere, the children are
more likely to be pleased or glad. It is all up to the teachers whether they set positive atmosphere
or negative atmosphere. The students perform accordingly to the mood of teacher (Vasquez,
2017).
Additionally, the teacher typically does not consider himself as the role model. However,
the teacher does job without any intention. It is found that the student spends quality time with
the teacher. As a result, the teacher becomes role model to their students. It may be either
negative effect or positive effect. It is completely depended on the teacher. The teacher is there
not only to teach students, but also upkeep, understand as well as love them. It can see that
everyone respects the teachers in society. Because of this respect at great level, the teachers are
role models for the children and their parents (henry, et. al, 2018).
Problem of practice or need for change
The teachers face various challenges in the teaching profession. It is not easy to become
teacher. The obstacles the teacher encounters can arise from various guidelines with student,
mothers, fathers, and management (Altınay-Gazi & Altınay-Aksal, 2017). The absence of
teamwork, support, as well as understanding among the children is biggest issue for the teachers.
When the student spends his time individually, then it can be challenge for the teacher. It can see
that it is difficult for the teachers to play multiple role at the same time. The teacher have to play
the role of psych educator, counsellor along with social worker. Further, the teachers have no
