INTRODUCTION
Employability skills refers to the skills and attributes that is required to perform a
particular task at workplace(Plomp, J and et. al.,2019). These skills are used in the health and
care sector. Accessibility is another tool that helps in identifying skills that is required to perform
a particular task.

TASK 2
Solution to work based problems
There are five solution in solving work based problems are as follows:
Identify the problem:- It is the first step for solving the work based problem. Firstly
formulation of question takes place. Then gathering information systematically so that it will
help in evaluating the results of the problem. Information is to be collected from different sources
so that all the data is organized. After collecting and organizing the data the information is
summarized into useful data that is being used at the workplace. After doing all these steps
objective is to defined from the gathered information.
Managing the problem:- After identification of problem it will be breakdown into smaller parts
so that it will become easy and manageable by the problem solver. After breakdown into parts
techniques can be applied such as brainstorming and lateral thinking that helps in considering the
best part from it (Roy, Baker and Kerr, 2017).Then analysed all the parts in depth and identify
the steps that can be taken for the purpose of achieving objective.
Decision making:- This is the third stage of solution to work based problem. In this stage
decision is to be taken based on the possible options available to it. It can be depended on the
resources available regarding the work based problem.
Resolving the problem:- At this stage the plan is to implemented into the work and then
providing information to the stakeholders. After that the stakeholders and the other employee
will review the progress of work and then resolve the problem in the organization.
Examining the results:- This is the last stage of for solution of work based problem. In this
stage outcomes is being monitored and action can be taken so that it will help in resolving the
problem of similar situation in the future. Therefore, all these steps helps in solving work based
problem.

Styles of communication
There are three styles of communication such as
Passive communicator:- These communicators are shy in nature and avoiding the situation
where they have to come forward to communicate with other people(Allatt and Tett, 2018).
Some people apologize for their things that are not controlled by them. They are enabled in
making eye contact with other people so this will lead to negative attitude towards others. They
like to listen everyone but it is impossible to always become a listener. If leaders will only listen
to others then they will not be able to control its team.
Aggressive communication:- These communicators speak boldly, directly and loudly. Managers
who are aggressive in nature are using some words that are not easy to understand by others and
leave a doubt for them. Employees said that managers who are aggressive are considered to be
loud, competitive and forceful.
Assertive communicator:- They are considered to be confident and self respecting. They speak
clearly, open and honest to each and every people (Montgomer and et. al., 2017).They are
sensitive with other communicators and try to earn respect from other members at the workplace.
There are more different communication styles that is being used at workplace such as
open, reserved, direct and indirect communicators.
Effective time management strategies
There are ten strategies for effective time management are as follows:
Know how to spend your time:- This is the first strategy that emphasize on determining that
how the time will be managed by an individual. Breakdown your work into parts so that it will
help in achieving the desired results on time.
Set priorities: After managing the time it is required to decide that which work is to be
completed first and which one is to completed later. So doing urgent work on priority basis so
that it will help in completing the task on time.
Use a planning tool:- After setting priorities planning toll is to be taken into account such as
calendar, pocket diaries and electronic planner (Sin, Tavare and Amaral, 2016). Then write
down all the task given on mainly focus on the work that is to be completed on priority basis.
Get organized:- After using planning tool the work is to be organized in a systematic manner so
that it will reduce confusion at the time of doing work.

Scheduling time properly:- All the task is to be completed on time so for that managing the
time accordingly and scheduling each and every task properly.
Getting help from others:- At some point of time help can be taken from others so for that right
person is to identify who is able to complete that work effectively and efficiently.
Stop procrastinating:- In this don't feel hesitate in doing work and divide the work into smaller
parts so that it will become easier to completing the task on time.
Managing external time wasters:- The time can be affected from the external factors like
distraction occur if other person is using phone or attending calls so that will lead to distract
mind at the workplace (Messum and et. al., 2017).So manage the time and don't waste in
attending the call unless it is an important call.
Avoiding multi tasking:- Doing more than one task at one time will lead to wastage of time so
complete one task and then shift to the other task.
Stay healthy:- Health is the important part of life so take relaxation in between the work so that
it will reduce stress from mind and health is also remain fit.

4.1 Tools and methods for developing solutions to problem
There are seven steps in solving problem are as follows:
Identify the issues:- In this step one will be clear about the problem and different people is
having different views regarding the issues (Scannapieco, Smith and Blakeney-Strong, 2016).
Understand everyone interests:- Every individual is having different interest that is to be
satisfied by providing it proper solution. The best solution is one that will be satisfy every
individual interest.
List the possible options:- Then make list of the solutions that is provided to solve the problem.
Evaluate the options:- Select the best option that is necessary in solving the problem.
Select an option:- After evaluating the option selecting the option that is the best suitable in
solving the problem.
Document the agreement:- After selecting the best option write down all the details in a
document.
Agree on contingencies, monitoring and evaluation:- This is the last step in developing a
solution to problem that helps in monitoring the problem.

4.2 Strategy for resolving a particular problem
Staff communication helps to resolve particular problem as if any problem is faced by the
staff will be discussed with the other employees at the workplace and also by arranging meeting
with team help in solving the problem of staff (Plomp and et. al.,2019).If managers get involved
with the staff then they don't have to face problem and it can be resolved. If there is support of
every staff then problem can be solved effectively and efficiently. Different strategies is to be
used to analyse the problem of communication. If employees are interacting with each other it
will be beneficial for all the employees to communicate easily with them. All the employees of
the company will be interactive as they more efficient to do work for future course of action. As
communication plays an important part in the organization that will help in enhancing growth of
employees at the workplace.
4.3 Impact of implementing the potential strategy on the business
The impact of implementing the strategy on the business is that it will enhance the
leadership in the organization. Performance is improved by the personal growth of an employee.
By taking into consideration different action that is being placed in particular order. Performance
of an employee is increased by involving the organizational process so that it will help in
meeting capability to achieve goals and objectives of the business. As performance can also be
improved by getting results from the feedback form (Top 10 employability skills, 2019). This will
also helps in getting appraisal by doing work effectively and efficiently. By doing swot analysis
also performance can be improved as an employee is known to its strength, weakness,
opportunities and threats. Different opportunities is being provided to employees to do work in
the organisation that will also increase efficiency of worker in the company. These strategies are
very effective to employees as they help in building relationship in employees. There are
different strategies that will help in enhancing growth. With implementing strategies in the
company will give positive impact on the company(Sin, Tavares and Amaral, 2016). Wealth of
stakeholder will also increase due to implementation of potential strategies in the organisation.
