for any type of event includes various factors that need to be done properly such as budgeting,
scheduling, selection of site, arrangement and transportation. There are different types of degrees
in event and entertainment management such as BSC, diploma's in various areas. Along with the
degree they can also do effective online courses. Person can easily do online diploma course in
event planning and management along with the degree. By doing additional professional
qualification with the degree they can increase their knowledge in planning management
(Dhiman, 2012).
Planning is more important in the event and entertainment management course. I need to
plan for the budgeting and site of events, that must be scheduled properly. If planning part will
be done properly then I can easily do the implementation of particular event. In online diploma
course individual can easily learn different things which helps to create effective and efficient

the degree such as increment in knowledge and skills, higher efficiency, increase learning ability

5 Reflation of the interview process by applying STAR method
The STAR method is a combination of four elements such as situation, task, action and
result. STAR strategy is a well structured manner of responding to a behavioural based interview
questions by discussing the particular STAR of the specific situation. STAR approach most
effective to manage the task at the particular situation (Mishra, 2014). It helps to create effective
plan and manage the appropriate task. STAR method of the interview process as follows:
Situation: organize an event for the self awareness training
Task: My main objective is to provide appropriate training to the employees which helps
to increase their employability skills in the world. I also provide effective and efficient
resources that will help to understand the concept of self awareness.
Action: I prepare a new activity that help to know their values, beliefs, strengths etc. this
activity is unique that will conduct during the session to give more knowledge about the
self awareness. It also helps to each employee to know their own values and skills.
Results: Each employee is able to find out their strength and values which are not good
enough and they should enhance it. This training is more effective to an employee to
increase their employability skills.
6 What I learnt about myself and what aspects I need to improve for the work readiness
I learnt from this module is my skills and knowledge is week in some areas such as

discuss my schedule to the team members. By improving my these skills and knowledge I can
easily get higher performance and efficiency in the world.

time management skills. Further, I also learnt from this module is I should have good ability to
take appropriate and efficient decision in the particular situation. Based on the specific situation I
should take decision which should not affect the overall planning of my events.
