How mini workshops contributed towards the development of employability
The learning and skills development services are quite hard at the work in order to develop a
comprehensive guide that brings success for the workshop by introducing the development in
employability skills. Employability skills are the basic skills that are required in order to find
employment and include particular important skills to perform the specific job role (Dejaeghere,
Wiger and Willemsen, 2016). It includes various critical factors and characteristics that are
require performing job at the workplace. The requirement of employability skills differ
according to the job post sector and country as it include suitable qualities and attributes
including the communication skills, interpersonal skills problem solving, managing values, team
building, self management and many more. For the development of employability skills
seminars, workshops, training programs, reading and writing important as these are the factors
which bring hike in the development of suitable skills.
Why workshops have been designed?
The prominent workshops have been designed in order to develop and raise awareness to
understand the significance of employability and concerning skills. These are organised for the
enhancement and development of the prominent skills of an individual after the self analysis.
Therefore for the enhancement and improvement of the personality of individual workshops
plays an important role (Ruge and McCormack, 2017). Moreover, CV writing is also important
because it is useful in describing the prominent skills which an individual carry with itself with
its strengths and weaknesses.
Purpose of workshop
For the development and designing the workshops the purpose is the enhancement of the
skills of those people who work within the particular industry and face difficulty in order to
perform their job role and also so expected to support the learners to give exposure to their career
and decision making.
What does workshop offer?
The prominent workshop will provide everything for the development of suitable
employability skills and also tends to produce clear and concise method and steps for the
development of employability skills. As it include suitable factors with it considering the full-

development of learning and skills that are helpful for the enhancement of employability skills.

expertise that has significant knowledge to guide learners for the development of their
employability skills (Choate and et. al., 2016). They take time to familiarize their environment
and themselves with the material including links handouts and many more. Moreover, it is
beneficial for the trainer in its career development as it provide suitable exposure by covering
various topics.
What are the learner’s achievements?
Behind the development of workshops the aim is to enhance the understanding regarding
the complex surroundings within employability. The suitable objectives of workshop include the
determination of varied perspective on the employability describe the main employability skills
required within the learner and also discuss how to enhance and develop the employability skills
among the learners.
Summary of the portfolio contents
Portfolio contents like writing CV will help me in developing my own CV or updating it in
order to grab greater opportunity if I find while performing a particular job. Basically, CV
writing is specifically important because it consists of the overall information about your own
that what you have done in the past and regards to qualification, experience, and skills that you
have and many more other aspects. On the other hand, if it is talk about SWOT analysis then it
will not only help me in understanding my own strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and
threats but it will also lead me to take decisions in near future in order to change all the weak
points in the strengths (Sin, Tavares and Amaral, 2016). Google help me in improving my own
performance in whatever the company I will be doing my job. Including this, group work will
help me in improvising my own team working skill where I can easily listen to others and take
decisions after rechimg to the conclusion. This will not only help me in improvising the overall
engagement of my own within the team but it will also help me in improving the relationship
with all the team members with whom I will be working in near future in a company.
Getting about the knowledge about my own ideal job will help me out in looking among
different weak points that I am having and to improve them with the help of continuous

improvement or an action plan please on the requirements of a desired job of my own in a well
maintained brand. Away with this, understanding the term employability will help me out in
looking among different disadvantages and advantages that I can go through while working in an
organisation and while doing my own desired job.On the other hand, presentation skill is also
helpful in improvising the overall presentation of my own considering a particular aspect. In the
near future, it will help me in in delivering the right information to the seniors in correct time
without clear data. On the other hand, if it is talk about time management skill then and it can
help me in in performing a particular task or different range of tasks in specified time frame
considering a particular time management tool (Nelissen, Forrier and Verbruggen, 2017). Also,
this will help me in prioritising all the tasks in rightful manner so that I can complete the project
in given time span. Refrencing is another skill that may help an individual like me in
authenticating the information which has been presented in front of the seniors. Near future,
referencing a particular line of a paragraph will help me out in becoming much more authentic in
front of the seniors about the different facts and figures that I have utilised. Including this,
information in relation to plagiarism not only help me out in delivering the authentic information
to the staff and to the seniors while performing my job in the company but it will also help me
out in reaching to the success level and much effective and efficient manner.
