INTRODUCTION
In present time period, company managers mainly work for hire and select employees
within an organisation and choose those candidates who have basic skills and knowledge by
which they easily achieve desired goals and objectives in proper manner. Along with this,
employability skills is an effective term that help in defining the actual quality of working and
capabilities of the specific staff member. This report is based on employability skills of Royal
Dutch Shell which is situated in UK and there are about 93000 employees works in the company.
In 2016, its annual income is approximately 233.6 billion (Panagiotakopoulos, 2012). The
organisation will operate their business in more than 70 countries and produce around 3.5 million
barrels of oil per day. There are various theories and factors which discussed in this report. Also
we can develop job specification, job description and Curriculum vitae for the HR manager
position.
KNOW YOURSELF
Generally, employability can be bring by setting different skills, personal attributes and
understanding that will assist in accomplish desired goals and objectives of the organisation. By
which company manager can get growth with the help of external competitive environment. The
position of human resource manager in Royal Dutch Shell thus I can have basic qualities and
skills that will help them so I can importantly doing different responsibilities and roles. Along
with this, here I should implement two major employability theories which are as under:
Holland Theory of choice and career test- According to the John Holland's Theory, there
are many person who have basic six types of personality that are discussed as follows:
Realistic- This refers to that theory in which person can like to work with animals,
techniques and tools, basically they eliminate various social activities such as healing,
teaching and informing other individuals (Stoner and Milner, 2010). An employees
who have effective and good skill to work with having methods and tools for gaining
required organisation goals and objectives in proper manner.
Investigate- It is that theory which assist in solving major issues and problems by
doing effective research and investigation programmes.
Artistic- In an organisation, each and every employees should have ability to innovate
and create unique products and services which demand by customers.

Social- This is also major theory where an employee help in analysing social
environment which directly affect on workers desires and wants.
Enterprising- It is the one of the leading model or theory in which company can lead
those employees who have skills and knowledge to deal with any type of issues and
problems in effective manner.
Conventional- This is that theory which help in solving business conflicts and
disputes with the use of major tools and techniques within an organisation.
Krumboltz's theory- It states that theory which help in developing major ideas and
thoughts which support in taking decision for clients. The uncertainty is reasonable and
coveted so that it will allow the opportunity for taking benefits by use of unplanned
events (Rosenberg, Heimler and Morote, 2012). This theory will addressed the
requirement of people to deal with alteration for making desired changes in market
structure.
Both the employability theories which I can use for distinguishing and evaluating
employability skills in an effective manner. These theories will assist in taking correct decision
and I can easily analyse my business performance properly. The above models or theories are
useful for company employees because this can assist in getting success and growth that can help
in attaining required targets and goals.
KNOW YOUR SECTOR
HR manager position in the Royal Dutch Shell, it should have some professional skills
and qualification in effectively. I mainly focus on my working performance and qualities of
management capabilities by which I can easily manage and control any type of critical situation
of the business organisation. I have my career goals and objectives which I need to achieve in the
coming time period. Thus, I required to develop my behaviour and attitude in positively towards
my company members so that I can evaluate their issues and problems which relates to their
promotion, incentives, timing, techniques of oil and gas formation which they are share with
them without making reluctance. Along with this, I need to create my attractive and professional
personality by which they can properly perform my function and duty which should be delegated
on the top position of the Royal Dutch Shell. As per my point of view, HR manager position
need to have some abilities, skills, qualification so that human resource manager have to perform
various roles and duties at the workplace. This includes training, development, recruitment,

selection and develop and also measures the working performance, management of time
strategies, conduct motivational programmes and many others. Various responsibilities have to
be completed in proper way and firm success is totally depend upon workers therefore, it is

manager. The health and safety is necessary for remove all external and internal badly
environment so it is easy for me is to protect all employees from danger situations. With the
