INTRODUCTION
The personal reflection is very much important for an individual as it is response to the
specified stimulus (Farrell and Kennedy, 2019). Mostly it is written by the individual to evaluate
own experience, feelings and events to bring improvement in oneself. Personal reflection is the
kind of opportunity which enables to reconsider the events, thought process and feelings from
the very fresh perspective to achieve the desirable goals and objectives in potential manner.
respective report is based on the reflection in regards of learning process for the employability/
study skills. Further it includes the concept of leadership and significance of it in the
management process. It also includes the role and significance of taking control of individual
personal development planning by accessing own strength and weakness in order to remain
competitive in the marketplace.

Study skills are the skills that help an individual to study and learn in effective manner.
Study skills are the significant kind of transferable life skills that required the full fledged
process in order to achieve the desirable goals and objectives in potential manner (Gregson and
et.al., 2020). To develop the effective kind of study skills required to pay attention on the major

areas that directly enhance the value of time and efforts. While developing respective set of skill
in oneself I adopt the own personal approach to study and learn that helps me to meet my own
demand. By approaching own way of study skills I can be able to discover the works matter for
me and what does not. By using respective approach I can be able to focus on the areas of
improvement and can be able to build strategies in positive manner. While developing the study
skills I analyzed that it is not subject specific but generic in nature and can be used while
studying the area. While developing the study skills I develop the concepts, theories and ideas
that surround the specific subject area to achieve out of the studies to remain competitive in
marketplace. In that regards it is very much potential to develop the areas that directly enhance
the experience of an individual to remain competitive in marketplace.
Understanding of the concept of leadership and importance of leadership skills in the
management process.
Leadership is one of the most important aspects that help to lead the people in the definite
direction to achieve the desirable goals and objectives in potential manner (Jenkins and et.al.,
2019). It is very much important for an individual to develop the skills of leadership as it enables
to direct the individuals efforts in the right direction by accessing their skills and capabilities. It
proved very much effective to have the leadership skill in the manager as they need to lead the
group of individuals in achieving the desirable goals and objectives in potential manner.
Leadership is very significant function of management that enables to maximize the efficiency
and achieve the organisational goals and objectives (Fan and et.al., 2019). as leader is an
individual who start the work by effectively communicating in regards of policies and plans to
their subordinates from where they actually initiate their work in effective manner. at the time of
managing people it is required to access the skills and capabilities of an individual and assign the
work and responsibilities so that they can contribute one of their best efforts in organisational
development and enhancement in positive manner. in that regards it is very much potential to
evolve the leadership skills in oneself to coordinate the works and activities in the most potential
manner in order to remain competitive in marketplace. the one of important leaders of the world
consist the CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and many more.

Importance of taking control over the individual personal development planning.
Personal development is very much important for the individual for giving one of own
best efforts in organisational as well as self development in potential manner (Liang and et.al.,
2019). personal development activities that improves the person’s talent, potentiality,
employability, level of consciousness and ability to create wealth. It has been observed that
adults life are shaped by the level of experience and circumstances that received by the family,
neighborhood and school during the formative years. While planning the personal development
required to plan each and every aspect to put one of their best efforts to remain competitive in
marketplace. in the personal development plan consist of the various steps that direct the
individual efforts by establishing the aim and objective, what an individual want to achieve and
what remains that come under the task that need to be consider to achieve the same in positive
manner. by accessing the current position with identification of skills to put one of best efforts to
give one of their best efforts after accessing competence level. In that regards an individual needs
to control over the activities as it directly enhance their value and set the limit that is very much

Threats:
 The major threat in front of an
individual that is due to not able to
think critically not able to give
decisions that proved beneficial for

manner to remain competitive in
marketplace.

individual can overcome from the
critical thinking skill that is must for
the individual to remain competitive in
marketplace.

in development of an individual in potential manner. with the help of personal development by
focusing on the areas of strength and weakness respective individual can be able to overcome
from the threats that hinders their self interest in potential manner.

For the personal and professional development required to analyze the areas of

the SWOT analysis it has been analyzed that the major areas of improvement includes the team
building and critical thinking skills that is very important to assign the roles and responsibilities
by analyzing key skills and abilities of an individual to achieve the one of best outcomes in
potential manner. with the individual need to require the decision making ability that is very
much potential by analyzing the key areas of improvement in order to attain the desirable goals
and objectives.

In that regards it is very essential for an individual to focus on the area of improvement
