Introduction about Points of difference
Points of difference is an unconventional strategy which
guarantee that a candidate is the strongest amongst all in a job
interview. In a nutshell, this strategy provides tailor made
standards to counter conventional wisdom. The main aim of
these distinctions is to help candidate to identify their
strengths and opportunities. This strategy can helps in
correcting the shortcomings of a candidate.

Points of distinction
In order to apply for a teaching faculty job, there are few points
of difference and they are:
 Can communicate in 4 languages such as English, Malay,
Mandarin and Korean.
 Has experience in living cross-cultural environment and that
is Brunei and Australia.
 Experience of primary teaching faculty of seven years.

 Mentored and headed a Scout group and taught various
survival activities such as cooking and campfire.
 Trained in sports such as Netball and Badminton.
 Have 7 years of experience in teaching subjects like
Maths, Science, English, Art and Drama.

Educational philosophy linked with POD
Philosophy of education is the thought process about the
education system. According to the candidate, education is
not limited with subjects and curriculum. Various non
curriculum activities are also signifiant as they enhances
creativity of learners and helps them in developing a base of
education.

Stand about education
Education is a process of learning which helps in overall
development of students. The stand of candidate is related to
concerning about 360 degree growth of learners. In every
institution there must be equal weight age for theoretical and
practical subjects so that learners can improve their
confidence.

Possible contributions
As a teaching faculty, first contribution towards learning is
spreading awareness for subjects such as work experience,
physical education etc. as these subjects helps in expanding
mental and physical state of learners. Another contribution
towards learning is to provide training for various sports
such as Netball and Badminton.
