support the continuous growth of the employee. This is known as the employment
development (Crawford 2013). A formal way to collaborate, reflect, plan as well as learn in
the continuation of the quest in order to strengthen effectiveness of an individual and
understand the potential of an individual.
An employee will get an alert by their manager about a date as well as time for their
meeting regarding the EDP.

Examine ‘employability’ scenarios for the skills of: problem solving, team work, cross-
cultural competency
We all are solving some problems every now and then, at workplace, in academic situations,
as well as our everyday life.
The practice of skills in employability teamwork, a soft skill regarding teamwork is
referred to as the significant factors for creating a chance of getting a job. The skills includes
decision making and planning skill, the skill of interpersonal relationship, flexibility skills
and communication skill.

Explore Career Development Theory and Reflective Thinking and Writing
Career development is referred to as the process by the help of which a person build
up their career to make his/her identity and this is formed from the time of childhood through
his/her lifetime. This theory of career development will try to help them out to make relevant
choices that may lead to the satisfaction of a greater career. Differing perspectives is being
offered by the theories of career development about the way to view organizational fit,
developmental needs of an individual, as well as process of career counselling. These theories
are helping the individuals to find a completely meaningful work that supports with their
interests, traits, types of personality, cultural contexts as well as values (Sampson Jr 2014).
Over time the theories are being developed, they have been shifting the focus from the
matching of basic level aptitudes as well as interests with the requirements of the job in order
to emphasize the significance of finding a suitable satisfaction and eloquent work as essential
to the development of a lifespan. To promote exploration of the importance of connotation in
the development of a career, theories of meaning-centered also highlights the significance of
finding out the meaning in career and life of a single individual. Theories of no one is greater
than the others. Nevertheless, few common theories are gaining acceptance as because their
individual usability as well as empirical support.
According to me, planning for personal development is the best theory that will
explain a personal approach towards my career management and planning. It must be specific

about what I want to do, the possible outcome I am looking for, and the time when you will
be able to achieve that.
Reflective thinking is important for the success in an unpredictable as well as
complex situation like working with the customers or the clients. It helps all to develop an
attitude of questioning, identifying areas for the possible changes as well as improvement
(Rieger, Radcliffe and Doepker 2013).
