Introduction:
The employability skills portfolio is considered as the listing which reflects a personal
record of success and accomplishments. The portfolio of employability skills shows true abilities
and knowledge that is crucial for individuals in facing and managing challenging situations of
job roles in the most professional manner. The report will cover the summary of the important
skills required by me to perform Coaching job in the effective manner. In addition to this, the
report will highlight my job role as the mentor as well as my experience related to job
engagement. Moreover, the report will also include reflection of my learning and experience
gained from LinkedIn learning modules.
MAIN BODY
Discussion of main skills required during job roles:
The mentorship skills are crucial for me to perform coaching job role in the most efficient
manner. Below are the summary of the main skills required by me during mentoring students
are:
Effective listening: This skill are important for me as effective listening will support me in
gaining a clear sense of what the student is saying as well as also helps me to connect with my
students more emotionally and personally. In relation to this, proper listening will lead me to
enhance connectedness with the feelings of students in the efficient manner(Mulcahey and et.al.,
2018).
Building relationship of trust and engagement:

The another skill required as mentor will support me in making relationship of trust as
well as engagement with the students. In addition to it, this skill will support me to take care of
personal and private information of students. This skill will also leads me to share my personal
life experiences and learning that will boost my connection with students.
Effective focus:
This skills will be crucial for me as it will assist me to focus on the priorities of the
students as well as helps me to facilitate meaningful and valuable conversations with my
students. Along with it, this skill will also support me to notice the distractions faced by students
in timely manner which will allow me to check student progress(Kaše, Saksida and Mihelič,
2019).
Description of my reflection on gratitude meditation in coaching as well as my experience:
In my job experience, I have undertaken gratitude meditation techniques that helped the
students to enhance their overall well being and health. Below are the benefits that are
experienced by me as a mentor in adopting techniques related to gratitude meditation in coaching
classes:
My interventions related to allowing meditation classes in the class has significantly
supported the students to increase their feelings of thankfulness and interconnectedness.
Moreover, this also supported me in building a healthy and positive relationships with
my students(Kumar, 2021).
The gratitude meditation program has also supported my students to decrease the level
of pressure and depression related to study or from any unfavourable situations in life.
The gratitude meditation session has also supported my students to enhance their quality
sleep which helped me to increase the performance level of students in the class.
The meditation classes in coaching has assisted my students to boos their level of
academic interest as well as also improved their engagement in the class activities and
programs.
Reflection of the key skills learned from LinkedIn learning modules:
The LinkedIn learning module has allowed me to develop critical skills that supported me
to effectively improve my coaching style as well as also helped me resolve issues related to
students in the most professional way. The following points states the professional skills that I
have acquired from LinkedIn learning module are:

Critical Thinking:
The learning of critical skills has allowed me to develop an analytical mind while facing
difficult situation and problems. In relation to it, this helped me to find root cause of problems
that are faced by my students in the most effective manner. This has also supported me to
enhance my attention to detail as well as also assists me to find necessary solution for stopping
disputes among students(Nisha and Rajasekaran, 2018).
Resilience:
I have also acquired resilience skills that aid me to multi task things effectively and also
supported me to deal with rapidly transforming priorities of students in the most proper manner.
Along with it, this skill also helped me to tackle effectively with my stress levels by clearly
setting targets in order to improve student involvement in the class activities. This skill has also
provided me the power to deal with the challenges and adopting properly with the changing style
of teaching.
Teamwork and career conversations:
The other skills that I have adopted from LinkedIn learning module is excellent written
and communication skills. The effective writing skills will help me to formulate extensive and
quality study materials. In relation to this, it will also help me to form as emotional bond with
students which will motivate them to take part in team activities. The other skills that I have
acquired is Teamwork skills which allows me to strengthen the student efforts as well as
reducing their weaknesses(Cotronei-Baird, 2020).
Emotional intelligence:
The emotional intelligence skills has supported me in building the relationship of trust
with the students. This skill also assisted me to develop an emotional bond with students that will
help students to communicate better and in proper manner. In addition to this, it has also helped
me to have control on my behaviour and understanding the feelings of students in the best
manner.
Conclusion
It has been concluded from above evaluation that employability skills are crucial in order
to perform activities and tasks in the most professional and effective manner. It has been further
concluded that mentorship skills are critical for me to understand better the behaviour of students
as well as fostering them to take part in daily activities of class. In relation to this, it has been

analysed that gratitude meditation has helped students to improve their performance levels in
class. It has been further noted that LinkedIn skills has supported me to develop certain
professional skills which will guide me improve my teaching skills and behaviour with students.
