INTRODUCTION
Employability skills can be defined as transferable skills that are required for every
person to become employable. They are very necessary for every individual to get job in the best
workplace. Employer of the company judges the skills, technical and subject knowledge of their
applicants in order to select skilled candidate. CV is prepared in order to get specific job. In this
CV importance of skills and knowledge are described. Further, reflective review about skills and
experience is written. Additionally, how these skills helped in getting the job role is described.
Moreover, demonstration for appropriate range and level of research is studied.
1.1 Preparing CV for particular job role
My career objective is to work as a senior sales manager where I can utilise my
experience and develop my skills. Employability skills are very necessary for every individual
to get specified job role. The main skill which every employee must have are communication
skills, problem solving, teamwork, technology, planning and organising etc. All these skills plays
an important role in achieving desired job role in the company. I have communication skills
which helped me to create effective impression on the employer. This skill helped me in
influencing public crowd whenever I have to present them.
I have better teamwork and technical skills which will help me in understanding the
computer and telecommunication system of the company. It will also assist me in understanding
current trends and technology development of the organisation. Further, problem solving and self
management skills are very necessary as company requires that all the employees are able to
complete their work alone without any supervisor. Further, multinational companies requires that
their employees will solve the problems effectively so that they can increase their productivity.
The organisation faces different problems at any time and they require that their problem solving
capacity will rise them out from these problems. This will help the company to solve their
difficult task.
Further, I have focused more on problem solving skills so that I can handle the problems
of customers properly and provide them the best solution. Additionally, I have received the best
problem solver and other performance related awards. I am equally effective in working alone
and in team environment. I am flexible and adaptable. I have excellence ability to learn new
things and tasks. I am diplomatic and professional while dealing with challenging customers. I
have attended various workshops and international seminars which helped me to increase my

knowledge and experience. I work innovatively and tries my best in performing difficult tasks
and projects of the company more effectively. I have good sense of humour and hard worker. I
am adaptable with working environment. I can adjust myself in critical situations.
I have two year experience and I have workers as sales manager in retail industry. I have
learned various techniques of how to increase the sale of the company. This helps your company
to increase your selling strategy. I have coupled of hobbies. For example I am fond of listening
music, watching B-movies. I am interested in reading business management related books and
watching Netball and Tennis games.
1.2 Reflective review about personal skills, knowledge and experience
I have identified various skills of myself which helped in developing my weak and
lacking areas. I am quite weak in communication skills for which I have to face various
difficulties. I was hesitated and shivers whenever I have to face top authority and clients of the
company. But I have focused on enhancing my communication skills so that I can confidentially
face them and represent them effectively. Effective communication also helps the organisation to
increase their relationships with their customers as well as employees. It also helps in maintaing
effective relationships among employees. Further, I have increased these skills by taking various
coaching classes and taking helps of online videos to fluently speak English. Working with other
employees and staff members helps me to develop personal skills and attributes. The personal
skills and attributes helped me to develop teamwork and profession-ability and positive energy.
Furthermore, my technical skills helped me to clear the technical round of the company
and technical environment of the organisation. It also assisted me to understand technical
advancements of the market. My problem solving skills has encouraged me to face challenging
customers more effectively. Effective problem solving skills motivates me in taking effective
sales decision. I have developed this skills by facing various problems and understanding their
best solutions. Further, my effective knowledge in the field of sales helps me in creating various
research and discoveries. It also helped me to find out methods to increase market sale of the
company. New experience from the previous research has developed my level of understanding
the new market strategies and trends.
Further, self managing and development skill helped me to manage my work and
complete it on time. This skill was tested by human resource manager to evaluate my ability and
potentiality. My open-minded, honest, patient and curious skills helped me get an appropriate

position in the company. My curiosity and honesty of doing work has created effective
impression on the staff members as well as team leader. This helped me in getting the best
acknowledgement from the top management team and team leaders of the company. To be more
effective in handling tough task, I have to concentrate more on developing self confidence and
sales skills. This will not only help in improve my performance but also increase the productivity
of the organisation. Additionally, I have to update with new technologies so that I can develop
my technical skills and apply them in making marketing strategies.
I will improve myself by becoming braver and forming own interpretations. I will make
preconception that there was a right or wrong way to solve complex tasks and problems. New
expertise like teamwork, self management helps me in getting desired job roles in the company.
I also learnt transferable skills such as confidence, respect and caring for others. This expertise
increased my self confidence and provided the feeling of happiness. Moreover, experience like
working as a sales manager have positively impacted my knowledge of applying different
dexterity.
The skills and knowledge I have learnt is valuable to me as I am now more confident.
Reflective review helped me in developing critical thinking skills by learning from previous
experience. I have also learnt various skills and knowledgeable thing to become sales manager.
My strengths also helped me in developing organisation specific skills like working in team,
performing difficult tasks effectively. It encouraged me in developing my personality. I have
found various strengths of myself which helped me in increasing my performance.
Employees respect and effective communication in the organisation can be increased by
providing them the best technologies and resources. Further, respect for the employees can be
increased by providing them better wages and awards. They feel motivated when they must be
appraised by their team leaders in front of their team or staff members. Further, employees
interaction with other team members and leaders can be increased by conducting various
activities which provides them chance to mingle with other staff members. The organisation can
increase its productivity by allowing them to involve in decision making.
The organisation has to make best staff recruitment team so that they get skilled and
talented team of employees. Human resource manager has to conduct interview of their applicant
in such a manner that they will able to judge their skills and capability. Further, the company has
to appraise their employees on the basis of their performance. This will help the company to

increase their performance and productivity. It is very necessary for the company to check the
performance of their employees to increase their productivity. For this, the organisation can
develop effective environment which encourages their employees to enhance their performance.
All these career development strategies not only helped in increasing my self confidence
but it has also increased my personality. Responsibilities and interpersonal relationships with the
employees and top authority of the company also helped me to solve the problems effectively.
CONCLUSION
In this report, it can be concluded that employability skills are very necessary for
achieving desired job. CV is prepared in which the importance of skills and knowledge of
working effectively in the organisation is described. Importance of technical, communication,
self management, problem solving skills are studied. Career development strategies of an
employee are discussed. Further, employees respect and performance enhancement criteria are
focused. Reflective review of is conducted which helps in developing the critical skills.
Moreover, importance of effective communication is explained. This skill helped the individual
in enhancing their performance. Moreover, knowledge, skills and experience role in getting
effective job is described.
