Academic and employability skills
During my classroom activity, I have develop report on “internet in higher education”
along with group presentation. In this classroom activity, I got a chance to develop my learning
module regarding academic and employability skills (Bhagra, 2018). There are some skills set
like time management, team working, research skill and so on which I enhanced at greater level
so that scope of my career development gets improved. This will improve my performance in
working area of my desirable job. The employability skills create potential opportunity of career
options in more authentic manner.
Time management- Time management is the productive skill which involve
prioritising, delegation, decision making, goal setting, problem solving, strategic thinking,
scheduling and goal setting. By improving Time management skill I enhance my ability to
accomplish my project of “internet in higher education” on time. In creation of this report I
develop my employability skills of time management. Through regular practice, I prioritise all
task with delegation in strategic manner so that I can complete all priority work on time with
appropriate scheduling. It improve my focus, concentration and self aware as during project I
need to prioritise all task as pet strategic schedule (Cotronei-Baird, 2020). The skill of time
management boost my career opportunity because each company wants their employees to
complete job assignment on priority basis.
Research skill- The research skill is the quality of searching, extracting, organising,
evaluate and locate useful information of the particular subject. The academic research is the
foundation of the successful employability skills. This is consider as specific skill which I
develop in project formation. Through this I produce elaborate methodical investigation on the
particular area. It improves my ability to find accurate solution of the research problem. With the
help of research skill I will be able gather useful information that is necessary to product accurate
report.

Team working skill- The team working skills is the effective ability which permit work
completion with others during collaboration and conversation of project. This skill is highly
dependable upon own communication skill, responsible, active listening and honest. In group
presentation of classroom activity, I develop skill of Team working because I got a chance to
work with the peer and friends. During group presentation, lost of skill and knowledge is
developed by me with support of friends and my team members. In process of team working
skill, some concepts of leadership, collaboration, trust, self awareness and active listening
develop while working with team members in the project (Griffin, 2019). I boost my self
confidence in this project formation that ultimately help in building positive opportunity of
career development with help of these employability skill.
Reflective model
While conducting project formation of “internet in higher education”, feedback is
collected to review my completed activity performance in the project. This feedback aid in
enhancing academic and employability skill. The learning module experience is analysis by
applying model of Gibbs. This will shape the personal experience along with important
experience in the form of rules, principle, theory that help in building more potential opportunity
in job. This model reflect experience with help of six stages in the working place to address
strength and weakness.
Description- The existing situation of learning module of employability and academic
skill provides opportunity to create report, and I got a feedback regarding this report which
review my performance. The feedback represent my good working, academic and employability
skill. I got an opportunity to improve skill of time management, research and team working
skills (Griffiths and et.al., 2018). These skill are most productive which deliver creative career
development opportunity. During research report I read and learn several concept related with
report in proper scheduling structure.
Feelings-In project formation, I develop positive feeling regarding skill because it build
more better options of career in future. I realised that employability skill generate accuracy in the
project and will help me in future to perform well in future. There are still some skills which is
needed in job assessment like presentation skill. It required more focus as well as concentration
so that I can enhance my ability to improve weak skills. During job assessment I need to develop
more employability and professional skills

Evaluation-The positive outcome that I realised in the learning module continuous
learning of new skills will develop personality and skills accuracy. This will determine more
accuracy and authenticated skills and knowledge which is important for the career development.
I have access authenticated knowledge which acquire lost of time during project creation. Some
negative factors also experienced by me while coordinating with other team members because
each team member has different perception.
Analysis- The productive thing which I learned during the report and feedback review
that employability skill develop my skills and personality that is most essential for the future
perspective (Nisha, 2018). The knowledge of time management, team working and research skill
is acquired by my and skills of numeracy and presentation is still need to be develop for future
development.
Conclusion- From the feedback and report formation, I concluded that these skill
enhance my personality which is more beneficial for my career growth. These skills help my in
identifying new jobs opportunity and I am capable enough to perform best in job assignment.
Action plan- The skill of academic and employability established basic foundation for
professional development career opportunity. That is why I develop action plan to enhance
scope of skills and knowledge in order improve performance in job.

Developing skills
The chosen skill in developing project is more beneficial for employment opportunity in
future. These skills are Time management, Team working and research skills that is used in the
project formation (Sarkar and et.al., 2020). For Time management skill I apply the tool of 4D
time management while developing project. The 4D time management tool consist of Do, delay,
delegate and delete. During project completion these category helps me in managing my limited
time in more effective way. This tool ensure more focus and concentration so that I can schedule
prioritised work on time. Do refers as work completion on quickly basis to build more projection
while working on project. The delay handle all temporary work which gets delayed and not
schedule properly. The delegate refers effective reassign towards essential task that is executed
by someone else task (Suleman, 2018). The delete category remove unnecessary task that should
not be schedule during project development. On the other hand to improve skills of research I
adopted tool of CRAAP. The CRAAP is called as currency, relevance, authority, purpose and
accuracy. The currency involves the timeliness of the information. The relevance is the signifiant
of the information that is needed in the project. The authority is the actual source of the
information which determine credentials of the report (Wolff, 2017). Accuracy define reliability,
truthfulness along with correctness in the content. Purpose is the exact reason through which
information exists in the project formation. Where as skill of team working improves by
developing coordination and collaboration with working in others team members. This will
develop ability to enhance leadership and motivational level in performing task. It will help in
building potential career possibility for future development. This will improve performance level
along with required skills for performing task in the job.
