SUMMARY
There were various kinds of materials in these project classes that have supported me in
developing my employability skills. These materials have helped me in identifying ways in
which I can work upon bringing improvement within my weaknesses, strengthen by current
skills that are useful for me in getting placed for my ideal job. These materials have not only
helped me in developing employability skills but has also helped me in enhancing my overall
knowledge. One of the materials was personal SWOT analysis. This SWOT analysis helped me
in analyzing my current skills, knowledge and qualities in much better and appropriate manner. It
helped in identifying skills that required to be improved that can work as barrier for me in getting
my ideal job. It further helped in in understanding skills or knowledge that can be beneficial for
me during my placement and searching for my ideal job. Another material studied during these
project classes was personal development plan. It was one of the most important material that
helped me in development of employability skill because it helped me in identifying ways in
which I can work upon bringing improvement skills that are weak and that are required to be
improved in a defied time period. It also helped me in identifying resources required for skill
development and actions through which these skills will be developed. It has further helped me
in reducing barriers for employability so that I become easier for me to find and get my ideal job.
During doing research for this assignment, I had identified that there were various other
kinds of material that helped me in development of my employability skills like resource log.
Resource log helped me identifying platform from where I can easily get required academic
resources for enhancing my overall knowledge. For example, I had identified that Google
Scholar, Emerald were two most common online libraries that are helpful for finding required
academic resources that are useful for us in developing employability skills and has helped me in
enhancing my overall knowledge. It further helped me in enhancing my overall research skills
which is useful for finding important and required information for research work and getting
fundamental knowledge required for getting employed easily. These project materials have
further helped me in bringing improvement within my written and oral communication skills. It

has helped me learning or enhancing my overall business vocabulary which is extremely
important in getting employed as it helps in understanding ways in which we should address
seniors, co-worker’s senior management etc. This material has made me self- sufficient that I can
communicate with others in corporate world without anyone’s help. Other than this, referring
and plagiarism was another important material that has helped me enhancing my written skills
and research skills. It has helped me in understand how important it referencing is especially in
research work. When different types of referencing styles should be used. All of these materials
has helped me in reducing weaknesses and strengthen current skills and knowledge in a proper
manner.
PORTFOLIO
Personal SWOT Analysis
It is based on the framework or tool that can considered the most essential part for
purpose of analysis. It should be identified the perception of individual people which help them
to represent the strong points. Through this way, it can easily controlled or managed the entire
personal ability or capability. Usually, this kind SWOT analysis tool which help an individual
person to identify their strength, weakness in different areas. Afterwards, it can improve the
entire work for eliminating any type of barrier. Sometimes, it can utilise to get more
opportunities through idea job which help to improve its overall performance within career
enhancement (Bryndin, 2019). Additionally, SWOT analysis is directly useful for individual
people to find out appropriate job. Afterwards, it would consider as best opportunities for
individual to determine skill and gain more knowledge. As per analysis, if any kind of skills are
not completely appropriate so that it has been faced various challenges by individual person.
Therefore, it has been analysed that SWOT analysis as becoming great approach to eliminate any
kind of barrier with achieving desirable success.
Personal Development Plan
It is based on the effective plan and procedures that can help for individual person to
improve their skills and gain more knowledge. Basically, personal development plan will be

increasing more opportunities for individual to determine the different way in which achieve
their objective. Sometimes, Personal development plan can be developed on the basis of current
weakness and then finding the appropriate solution to resolve all kind of issue or problem. Lack
of skill will be increasing a lot of barriers within career success. PDP can bring more
improvement within their own capabilities and abilities.
Sometimes, it is important for individual people to understand the essential need or
requirement. It is not only focused on the Personal development but assume all essential
resources to bring more improvement within individual behaviour, attitude and perception. In
context of growth and development, Personal development plan is consider as important
framework whereas individual person can utilise its own straighten career path towards success
(Lee, Hallak and Sardeshmukh, 2019). Personal development plan is defining the weakness of
individual person and implementing suitable strategies that can support in skill improvement.
Sometimes, Personal development plan will help to get place for idea job and achieve all career
growth within next 4-7 years.
Additionally, Individual person can use different resources that can support for improving
their skills. It involves online session, seminar, meeting rooms and discussion with supervisor
etc. these are basically include in the Personal development plan (PDP), which help for
improving their different skills.
Resources for Job Hunting
It is basically defined as one of the important artefact that can utilise for individual
person and getting idea job accordingly. Furthermore, there are different kinds of resources
which help for utilising job hunting (Paulus and Nijstad, 2019). Firstly, it can be used as job
hunting resources such as Advertisement, Newspaper, Magazine and other kind of referrals.
These are commonly used resources within job hunting.
On the other hand, online is another kind of job hunting resources that can use for
searching job advertisement through website, Smart Phone application. Individual people can use
this kind of method to search or find information. Due to COVID-19, Many people can search

the job by using different online platform such as Monster, Naukri.com and Indeed. These are
most commonly used website for searching job. These type of online resources are becoming
useful for finding the idea job accordingly. There are lot of option provide by individual in order
to filter on the basis of category. Therefore, it will be representing the right information or data.
Understand the Academic reading
Academic reading is one of important part of individual people as they can help them to
enhance their own knowledge and perform different tasks in proper manner. Academic reading is
considered the different resources to gain more information or data. Sometimes, reading can be
categorised into different ways: professional, academic reading (Sadq, Mohammed and Saeed,
2020). In context of student, they are basically preferred to select academic reading which
become consider as extremely important way to enhance overall skill improvement and gain
more knowledge within different areas, subject. Sometimes, many student can use academic
reading to discuss in particular topic or subject with other colleagues. In context of skill
enhancement, Academic reading is an essential part to gain more innovative idea behind reading,
different way to achieve the purpose behind improvement. By using academic reading, Student
can utilise to gain more knowledge within particular subject or area, also improve more
understanding towards subject.
Reading log
It is a kind of important artefact which is mainly show as reading log in which help for
individual person to keep monitor or track different concepts. It is consider as efficient way to
analyse multiple sources, website. Therefore, it can help for individual to improve concepts
toward reading aspects. Firstly, it help in keeping a track of reading and identifying relevant
information in further analysing (Secundo, Del Vecchio and Schiuma, 2019). Sometimes,
reading log is useful for minimising any kind of change within large information and provide
authenticate sources. Reading log is not only used for enhancing their own academic
improvement but it help them to summarising and analysing skill so that it can easily read

important information. Sometimes, it should include the reading log that can help in minimise
any kind of changes in proper manner.
Poster
It is a type of visual representation of data or information so that individual people can
understand the relevant information through Poster.
Nowadays, there are various kind of poster uses by individual person, because it is one of
the important format that can represent the information for targeting audience. Many people
cannot show interest towards data or information. if in case, it has been developed an interactive
poster and include all essential features. Therefore, it is attracting more and more people where
they can improve their own ability and gain more knowledge.
It is one of the important useful for people especially when it can represent some
graphical idea in the form of information. That’s why, it is basically used as interactive poster to
add all essential information so that reader can improve more understanding towards concept.
Nowadays, many companies are using Poster for representing the information of business and
provide their employee or staff members. These are completely representing as brief overview of
business activities.
Reading Job Advertisement
This type of artefact is basically related the reading and then scanning appropriate job
advertisement. In this way, it become easier for identifying the individual’s requirement and
meet positive expectation level. Sometimes, it is helping another way to find an appropriate
skills, knowledge that can help for particular job roles. An effective Job advertisement

It is another important artefact that can support for both student, professionals which
plays important role in different areas. Writing skill can help for establishing a strong interaction
with other people. Sometimes, there are lot of critical task handled by writing, when sending
formal email for colleagues. This can possible when individual person can have a proper writing
skills. Therefore, it will be representing the information or data with appropriate manner. On the
other hand, writing skill is helping the student to represent information in the form of answer.
During examination, writing skill will support for providing insight idea about the concepts.
Student can improve common rules in writing where identifying specific use of punctuation
within every paragraph.
Plagiarism and Referencing
This type of artefact is representing the authenticate source in which student can learn
about the concept of referencing as well as plagiarism. It is becoming consider as extremely
important aspect for individual people to improve their own understanding towards relevant
information or data (Secundo, Del Vecchio and Schiuma, 2019). In case, if any kind of
information used by another sources that needs to be cite in proper manner. In this way, it help to
control the situation of plagiarism because each and every content should sensitive. It cannot be
used in another study purpose. There are large amount of information collected or gathered.
Plagiarism is type of academic misconduct which is representing large amount of
information or data. Therefore, student can easily understand to include reference within their
own study.

Professional Vocabulary
Vocabulary is different kind of artefact that can support for professional as well as
academic level. Usually, professional vocabulary is helping individual person to gain more
knowledge, implement innovative idea within business operations. In context of professional, A
person can deal with client, representing their own knowledge and providing brief information
regarding project. Through this vocabulary, it is clearly representing the complex detailed, which
keep to check or monitor in step by step manner. Furthermore, many student can improve their
understanding towards vocabulary in which represent the information effectively and efficiently.
