INTRODUCTION
Contribution of mini-project workshops in the development of employability
I am a student who is studying in the university. In our university we are supposed to take
part in different types of projects and assignments (Brüngel, Rückert and Friedrich, 2020). A part
of these projects and assignments are the mini-project workshops which are conducted. Thus
these mini-project workshops are quite helpful in ensuring that the personal goals and objectives
are set for the future and can be attained highly effectively and efficiently without facing
problems and issues. We learnt about different things within these workshops. A CV is a
document which contains the different types of details which are related with a person who is
seeking a job. A Career Development Plan can be helpful in ensuring that the development of the
career can be made in the right manner. A leadership quiz can be taken to find out whether the
appropriate qualities which are required for becoming a leader can be developed. A LinkedIn
profile can be helpful in ensuring that skills can be developed properly for seeking a particular
job in the future. Presentation slide can be used in the future so that the own details can be shared
in a proper manner. Team Contribution & Teamwork weaknesses is quite helpful in the
assessment of the team spirit required to attain success. Goal-setting worksheet is required for
identifying the particular goals to be set in the future and the actions to be taken for ensuring
their achievement. Time-management log can help in ensuring the different types of activities in
which part is taken as as a student can be allocated appropriate time which will help a lot in
ensuring that the time can be appropriately divided. Cover Letter is quite helpful in ensuring that
the basic details about a person are shared which can be helpful in getting a right job for him/her
in a good organization. Interpersonal skills Self-assessment is required to assess oneself and the
way the use of skills can be made so that the goals and objectives can be attained in the future
(Gibbons, Lees and Al-Tabbaa, 2017). Reading log is needed to help to keep a detailed track
record of the readings which have been made. 5-minute action plan is needed by a person so that
the detailed analysis of the different actions to be taken can be made effectively and efficiently.
Thus all of these have helped a lot in ensuring that the goals and objectives can be attained. I can
summarise that the mini-project workshops are quite helpful for a person in ensuring that the
sound development of the various skills and competencies is made. Thus, in this manner the
development of the employability level can be done because the skills and competencies which

have been developed can be used appropriately when the time of seeking a particular job comes.
As per my views, If a student is able to develop these particular skills in the future then the
required help will be provided for the attainment of short-term, medium-term and long-term
goals and objectives.
