Reflective Essay

Essay:
Employability skills are necessary to develop so that organisation gain more and more
profits. Every one thought that it is necessary for only organisation. But it is not true because it
also same important for individual personality. Because of this reason I have done a audit for
analysing my employability skills. I made a questionnaires in which I put some questions about
my skills so that I will be able to know that my skills are helping in employability skills or not. It
is very necessary for my own development. I have done my own audit so that I can analyse my
skills that I already have. I analysed that I have many skills that are helpful in build my careers.
It is very important for me that I have to analyse skills and then take a decision accordingly.
After assessment of my skills I learned that I have already analytical, problem solving, hard
working, etc. that I gained from an experience. I already did work for an organisation that's why
I have skills. My positive attitude gives a great impression to the organisation. My positive
attitude solves big problem and convert into puzzle that can be easily solved. I analysed that no
work is done with negative behaviour. So that's why I generate my positive attitude so that I able
to perform all activities. My one more skills that really helpful in developing employability skills
is creativity. With creativity any person can able to think differently that make them unique.
These skills are really helpful in generating opportunities in career.
From my employability skills I have attain into my session of practice, I had realised that
I have attended good skills in various components like creativity, experience , attitude and
opportunities. Whereas, I have least scored in skills like communication and generating network.
As it is necessary to have good employability skills to move further for career growth that
initially require good communication and power to be influence about maintaining network
within a working environment. Communication need to be effective and clear that could easily
be understandable by others. In order to eliminate communication gap and bring initiative
towards asking, making concerns with co-workers. I need to be participative and start taking
advantage in conference sessions, meeting. Where, I would present my ideas and thoughts in
relation with making grow the business. Communication is interrelated with building network by
managing teams and make such a personality that people will want to follow, be a motivator for
them and an inspiration. This will require good leadership skills and management of people. for
that instance, I first need to come out with my personal zone and start taking initiative to take
with other, build relations, try to listen and understand their problems and provide them best

solution which I can give. This way people will trust my opinions and world further approach in
future times. Network could only build by inter-personal relations that and individual look into
while working in an organisation.
