INTRODUCTION
In today's time, it is very essential to maintain and improve working skills and
capabilities of employees. Because all these are helps to enhance leadership and communication
susceptibility in effective manner. Basically, most of the persons have to be set their short and
long term goals to achieve them with the help of better working performance. In this research
project will be carried out Travelodge company, which is related to travel and tour sector. So this
research report will be discussing about major objectives and responsibilities of a person. Also
will be explained about different types of motivational techniques, which assist to improve
working quality and performance of employment. During the functioning a particular company
in appropriate manner, so there has to be face many problems and issues. There will be
discussing about several communication style, with the help of them employees will effectively
interact with their customers as well as build healthy environment in cited company (Benson, V.,
Morgan, and Filippaios, 2014). This is very important to maintain and develop better working
surrounding, with the help of this employees will systematically perform their roles and
responsibilities and attain objectives as well.

Own responsibilities and skills are important for an employee in any working
environment. These responsibilities are related to self management which is important for any
individual. No organisation can flourish well without contribution of each employee (Jackson,
2014.). A employee should make direct or indirect relationship with company and their role must
known to him/her. How fast he adapts the environment and work culture is essential for his
performance.. In a company like travelodge which is one of largest chain of hotels in U.K.
individual skills and his/her understanding of own responsibility is important for employee as
well as for the firm. This hotel main aim is to provide quality services to its customers.
Being in such a large enterprise it is important to have proper understanding of his
responsibilities and performance. Some of these are:

picture of his performance, knowledge and skill possessed by an individual, need of training for
increasing his effectiveness and his ability to achieve desired objectives (Deeley, 2014.). There
are few factors that needs to be considered:
Interpersonal skills: It refers to the mode of communication an employee has adopted or
way in which an individual communicate with peers and customers (Jones, 2013). His behaviour
and effectiveness in communicating is an integral part of his skill set like his smiles, gestures and
way of greeting customers.

Self management: It is important for an worker to manage himself and these management

2017). It helps to increase the productivity of organisation as it motivates individual to perform
well. Like lower level staffs have some monetary needs. Herzberg's motivational theory focusses
on quality of supervision. If management style is impressive and sets up a good communicating
environment among employer and employee and it helps in motivation of employee whenever it
will be needed by them. Healthy relationship between the management and employee is
necessary. Appraisals in terms of some rewards can help in increasing the quality of work by by
