INTRODUCTION
As stated by (Yusof and et. al., 2012) Employability skills are those virtue that an
individual must possess to conduct their professional task in efficient manner so that this will
bring more profitability in their firm. If these talents are exist in a person in sufficient manner
this will enable them to accomplish their all activities in a most profitable manner. National
Health Services are a one of a leading organisation founded in United Kingdom. It is famous for
its world class services that they deliver to their clients. This firm is providing employment to
over 15000 employees. Basic motto of this association is to serve their customers quality
services with help of latest technology. Performance of workforce can be increased by executing
various tactics and management uses these as a tool of performance appraisal. These are more
profitable when they assist by efficiency of manpower (Rosenberg, Heimler and Morote, 2012).
TASK 1
1.1 Own responsibilities and performance objectives
There are various roles and responsibilities lead to perform by a manager of a company
which support and promote effective and absolute gain. Thus, there is a need to frame
appropriate and suitable performance objectives which lead to get accomplish properly on timely
basis for gaining better and appropriate outcome (Panagiotakopoulos, 2012). Thus, there are
various kind of responsibilities get evaluated for a care practitioner or health care association
individual so that effective gain get promoted. The three major responsibilities of employability
skills are stated as follow:
1. Personal responsibility
2. Ability to learn and develop
3. Establishing and maintain direct or indirect relationship
On the basis of these three points, I have to frame suitable and appropriate objectives with
appropriate time schedule which lead to get follow by in HSC for providing and delivery of
quality based services (de Guzman and Choi, 2013).
Objectives Time period
1. Management of time One of a major consent to perform every
activity is time duration. I have to frame
suitable time management strategies in which

2. Problem solving Another section which support in effective
achievement of targets is problem solving skill.
I have to improve my problem solving skill so
that better and effective gain get promoted
(Padmini, 2012).
1.2 Own effectiveness against defined objectives
It is important to understand effectiveness of working and accomplishment of desire
objectives. This enables in order to gain better and supportive results so that chances of better
and suitable objective achievement become possible as well as better time management could be
done. For this aspect, I need to use SMART acronym:
Acronyms Objectives
Specific Communication and problem solving skills are specific in nature which need
to improve by me for my better and effective delivery of services at health
and social care. I have to determine time duration as well for completing the
project (Benson, Morgan and Filippaios, 2014).
Measurable Another section is that targets and performance objectives need to be
measurable in nature. These targets become measure able in nature y
providing rating and make valid comparison of current one with desire one.
Achievable Targets of define objectives need to be achievable in nature. I have to frame
such targets which need to get accomplish in better and define time frame for
better and effective working.
Relevant Targets need have to be relevant to working. As a care worker I have to
improve my communication as well as problem solving skills so that better
and suitable gain outcome could be enhance for better and appropriate
results.
Timid I have set a limited time period for completing these two objectives
communication and problem solving. These two skills need to get modify

within next 6 months and consider as short term plans (Jones, 2013)
(Jackson, 2014).
1.3 Recommendations for improvement
There are certain recommendations for development of NHS which are stated as beneath:
ď‚· It is must for manager to examine knowledge and abilities of workers so that their
shortcomings as well as strengths will easily evaluated (Durrani and Tariq, 2012).
ď‚· Employer has to improve participation level of workers as this works as a motivation for
them. Along with, they will always excited to do and learn new things. Additionally, they
implement new things into working procedure which assist them to produce inventive
products.
ď‚· On the basis of define things, it get supported that I need to improve my communication
skills so that I become able to interact with every patient in an appropriate and suitable
frame (Andrews and Russell, 2012).
ď‚· Another factor which need to improve by me for my better and suitable development is
problem solving. I need to become more focus on my work and resolve as much issues as
I can for taking beneficial results.
1.4 Motivational techniques can be used to improve performance quality
It is must for superior to provide motivation to subordinates as this helps to improve their
participation level. Therefore, they will complete work with extra effectiveness and
appropriateness. As a result, profits as well as production of firm will get enhanced. Either
monetary or non-monetary kind of motivation will be provided to staff members. Along with,
certain kinds of techniques and methods can also be used.
Being a health professional, there are some types of motivational hypothesis will be
utilized by me for above stated aim:
ď‚· With help of Maslow's need of hierarchy, I need to fulfil requirements of staff members.
This will start from need of people as they want to satisfy their physiological wants.
Moreover, it is must to accomplish demand of individuals till they are not satisfied.
ď‚· Another theory is called as Two factor which help to satisfy employees in many facets:

Manager needs to provide an appropriate working environment to their workers.
Additionally, give them sufficient pay so that they will get motivated (Ju, Zhang and Pacha,
2012).

Time management is necessary for everyone and for every task because it provides a
facility of set time frame for task completion so that desires and needs of all customers should be
fulfilled in efficient manner (Dhiman, 2012).
As a Health Care Professional I need to decide a clear objective and must work
according to that. A clear focus helps in deciding task and activities that is necessarily to do in
goal achievement. A clear mission is necessary for assigning task and actions to co-workers so
that they could work in effective manner and must complete their work in desired time.
As per set and transparent focus I need to create a TODO list that should contain all
activities that I have to do in full day. This kind of list will further help in getting all task done
while customer satisfaction level (Rao, 2014).
I should ranked all activities according to priority basis that are listed in above TODO
list. If all task is done on the basis of priorities this will assist in complete those task which are
needed to do fast. As they are very important for clients.
While assigning tasks and in completion of actions employees should avoid interruptions
by their co-workers because these interference can mislead them towards a wrong way.
If a change is required in any activity so it should be done by top management so that
inappropriate variations could not occur in working because this could hamper efficiency of
manpower performance.
Employees should be assigned task according to their capabilities thus it increases their
working efficiency and will further motivate them in facilitating their clients with satisfactory
services (Tymon, 2013).

At last I have to review my whole day whether a worked in a proper manner or not. If I
worked in an appropriate manner so that I must improve my efficiency on day to day basis.
I need to set a SMART objective which means Specific, Measurable, Achievable,
Realistic and Time Bound. My missions and goals necessarily reflect all those components. This
shows their efficiency in corporation's growth and success.
Above task helps in completing important task in set time bound and this will remove chances of
ignoring any necessary action. Above time management helps in manage thoughts that are
associated with various activities (Deeley, 2014).

CONCLUSIONS
Above report can be concluded as a person must posses all skills and talents that will help them
in performing their operations adequately. Staff members with great efficiency is a fortune for
company because they will conduct their task in that manner, in they can get best possible
returns. It is a requirement from professional that they should a skill enhancement programme to
develop their virtue and specialization. This will assist their confidence in challenges
acceptation. All troubles must be shot in a manner that it should not hamper working style of
employees. To obtain all targets in most profitable manner workers are suppose to complete their
cast in proper manner.
