What did I do well in the completion of my development plan?
After my placement, I have, figure out that, personal as well as professional development
plan is essential for the focusing upon the area which I need to work upon and also required lots
of efforts which help in performing better in the organisation. Along with this it help in
providing better opportunities for TESCO in order to provide better services which leads towards
expansion and growth. In the context of skill audit this has been clearly identified that, I clearly
get to know about my strengths and weakness on which I have to continuously work for getting
competitive edge in the market. The feedbacks and the guidance provided by my seniors help in
assisting to overcome my weakness and challenges in a well define manner. Hence this improve
the effectiveness of making PDP plan which reduces the theft and uncertainty present in the
organisation. Therefore, also I was somewhat curious for understanding the areas or skills on
which I was either good or average. The reasons PDP is done as the bosses wants their
employees to have the adaptability for the increased work pressure and able to manage the stress
cause due to the some circumstance. So with the help in PDP I have increased my
communication along with interpersonal skills which which will help in surviving in this
competitive world. This have increased my professional skills as it is essential for individual to
grow in the company. Beside this PDP help me in improving my self confidence and decision
making skills. Contrary, as I was know about the time scale so I mentioned the time period that
are to be required for enhancing my knowledge, skills as well as delegate specific time duration
efficaciously as well a effectually. Hence overall, procedures and activity help in to understand
the skills which were average in the starting and help me in choosing the right path which help
me in enhancing the services.
