INTRODUCTION
The AMSR restaurant is situated in UK in Birmingham. It is providing the services to
customers. These services include services like providing the food to customers. Restaurant is
concentrating on the employability skill sand professional development plans which is the
responsibility of the HR trainee. The employees are the responsibility of the HR trainee. The
report Includes the employee's development and so the HR trainee is concentrating on the
interpersonal skills and leadership skills which are affecting the performance as well. The
employees are stressed and time management is necessary for employees because these
employees are working in the restaurants. They need to manage the services and see that the
services are not too fast nor too slow. Restaurant is concentrating on the communication skills
which includes greeting to customers, interview skills and presentation skills is affecting the
performance of restaurant in market. The employees are working in the restaurant and so the
restaurant is concentrating on the team work and make the effective relation between the
employees. The report is including the strategies for improving the employee relations in the
effective way. These would provide the knowledge to the HR trainee for managing the
employees and employees development as well.

To gain the technical skills and gain knowledge regarding the technical products.
Personal development plan
In personal development plan the plan is prepared including the strengths and weakness
and areas in which the personal development plan would be work. Nowadays employees are
ware about the strengths and weakness of themselves and these ways they are preparing the
personal development plan. Through following the personal development plan the employees
would improve their performance and develop their skills and abilities. It is including the
shaping of the thinking ability and effectiveness of working as well (Nadeem, Ghani and Shah,
2017).

I have been working in the 'AMSR restaurant Limited' for about a long time. I perform
so well in the development plan i.e., I work according to the objectives of the organization, all
the objectives which was given to me, I completed all task in an desired manner. I found myself
as a very hard working and innovation person so i learned the tasks in a good manner and
perform well in completion of that. All the activities which were given to me I completed on
time. As I was given a particular time for a project completed on time with quality work.
Different role and responsibilities were assigned to me so myself perform very well and
completed all my work on time. Being a responsible employee myself take feedback about my
work from my seniors that they are satisfied with my work or is there is any weakness which are
needed to be address so that I can improve myself (Mäkikangas and et.al., 2016).
To complete a task, I was given a particular time, so I done that work in that desired time.
Being a good employee it is necessary for me to understand the culture of Harrod, so I
understand their culture and work according to that so that it not void the rules and regulations of
the organisation. I inspired other workers also in the company by my working style and
knowledge. I need to develop good time management skill so that I can perform all the activities
of the organization on time. Good time management skill will allows me to accomplish more in
short duration of time. As by managing time properly I get lot of free time which can used for
learning new things.
My communication skills are very good so I was successful in maintaining healthy
relation with my subordinates. What was thought to me by subordinates i understood that in a
well manner and according to that I perform the task. So that I could maintain the better relation
among my co-workers and employers. As patience is very important for an employee, so I feel
that I have skills that I can control myself even in the worst situation, so this benefits me in this
way that whenever my seniors say bad to me I never argues with them and handle the situation in
an organized manner (Maguire and Blaylock, 2017). And further think upon it the positive and

negative aspects of the situation and if there is need of change then I implement change in myself
and work according to the further so that the seniors also feel recognized by me.
Once a situation arises that urgent work come in Harrod's and people of higher authority
was not present that day. So making an effective plan or decision to deal with that situation was
very difficult. So I think that if I had problem solving skills I would have dealt with the
conditions in the effective manner and would have taken best decision. So to improve my
problem solving skills I will take suggestions from my seniors that how to solve problems in
tough situation and what decision is best to be taken at that time which give good results to
organisation. So this is my weakness which I need to address (Lotz and et.al., 2016).
Another problem I analysed from the study that I had don't have good technical skills. So
for improving my technical skills I will search on internet and use much software which assist
me in improving my technical skills. Moreover, I will join classes and read online tutorials so
that I could learn more from that. As improved skills will assist me in dealing with different
situation in Horrod's.
From the above study I concluded that there are some weak points which need to improve
is problem solving skills. I have Other thing which is needed to be improve is my critical
thinking, as don't have logical thinking so for improving that I will take help from my
subordinates and search on internet or may be take help from some tutor (Gholipour, 2016).
I see my self as a positive person but sometimes such situation arises in organisation
which makes me feel negative about my work and personality. I must be positive towards my
work and personality so that I could complete my task effectively so that it can be helpful for me
in attaining the objective of restaurant. More and more consumers can be attracted towards the
restaurant further and thus sales and revenues of restaurant can be raised effective along with the
popularity and profit margins. As some difficult work comes and my seniors say that you have
no ability to perform that tasks which makes me feel less confident and negative, so for not been
getting distracted by their words I will motivate myself and do all task with positive attitude. As
positive attitude assist me in building self confidence, as by being self confident myself will
perform, all the roles without the help of others (Dahmarde, Khodabakhshi and Rad, 2018).
Greater self confidence makes me more willing to take smart risk and help me in coming out my
comfort zone. Thus, I could perform the task with full of confidence and greater enthusiasm so
that the goal of restaurant can be achieved and my performance can also raise significantly and I

could proceed further. The improvement in technical skills will also helpful for me gaining the
support of leaders and managers, so that I could be appreciated and concerned by my leaders.
Suggestions from my seniors will be helpful for me in solving and problems and could get a
better direction and further work for the betterment and growth if restaurant. The problems must
be solved at the point only when it arises so that there is no problem among the individuals
which are working with company. Last thing which needed to be improve is self learning skills
as always taking help from others is not also a good thing, so to be and efficient employee
myself need to develop self learning skills so that I could do my work by my own without the
helps of others. So all these are the points which are needed to be improved (Astle, Leberman
and Watson, 2018).
REFLECTION
From the above report it has been reflected that personal development skills are very
crucial in professional as well as personal life of an individual. It also reflects the interpersonal
skills such as self-confidence, Work ethics, relationship management as well as body languages.
It also focused on the transferral skills such as communication skills, Leadership skills and also
problem solving skills. Effective time management skills also plays important role in my day to
day life and also tools and techniques to increasing these skills. Time management skills will
help to have a management of time so that I could access and manage all things in my daily
routine schedule which can further helpful for me in managing the activities in the task and
further the goal can be achieved and accessed by me. Furthermore, it also states that
communication is my strength while weakness such a critical thinking opportunities as well as
threats (Asfaw, Argaw and Bayissa, 2015). The problem solving helps me that how I can become
more efficient as well as quick thinker. Critical thinking such as to think logically and think
between the ideas. It will help me to think innovative and extraordinary so that I could work
beyond my capabilities and skills and implement new idea in my working and develop extra
skills and knowledge in me. This will be further helpful in the growth and development of my
future and career. I can also become a quick learner and learn the things quickly and rapidly so
that it can further implement into my work and I could work efficiently and effectively.
