INTRODUCTION
All the following tasks are important and need to be learned for increasing our knowledge and
broaden our horizon for developing various abilities. These all tasks will be useful in education
or in professional career. The following task report is all about the experience learning and
implementation of knowledge on different real-life situations. It is about the detailed evaluation
of what and how I have learned what all the issues I have faced and how I am going to utilise all
that acquired knowledge for productive and growth perspective.

Cover letter writing:
This is type of document which was posted with C.V. to avail the reviver with the addition
information’s which were not mentioned in resume. Basically, a cover letter will be accompanied
with each and every c.v. we sent out. The employer or the person use that letter or document to
done screening of the candidate and decide on the basis of that, weather that person is suitable
for job or not.
Concrete experience: Initially I get to learn cover letter writing through my academic teachers,
as a part of our career development and profession skills, they themselves write a sample cover
letter for our understanding and taught all the steps and important points which will be necessary
in writing that effectively provided me with various online templates and links for more better
understanding. I have gone through various different templates and writing pattern which were
used to write for different job profiles (Cathro, O’Kane and Gilbertson, 2017).
Document Page
Reflective observation: I have search for many other sources to learn and enhance my writing
technique, some of the links and websites were quite useful and help me in providing more
options and patterns to write in. But I find it bit hard to understand the gist of the practicality
with gathering only the theoretical knowledge.
Abstract conceptualisation: On the basis of what I have done earlier I should focus on try
writing it on my own, as I find it easy when I read about if but in real life situation, I am still
making so many grammatical and sentence framing issues and the choice of word and
vocabulary was also not right. I could have done it better by start practicing from day one instead
of just grabbing information from various sources. What I must do is try to wite a cover letter
and consult my teacher for corrections and further guidance (Fewster-Thuente and Batteson,
2018).
Active experimentation: I can use this learning skills for writing cover letter for my resumes
which I wanted to post for various job opportunities but I though before sending directly to the
employer I must re-check it again and clarify all the points my lecturer told me. I also think that
sending out my first cover letter will enhance my knowledge and confidence and I get to learn
what mistake I made and improve it for the next time.
C.V. Writing:
These are also a piece of document which is prepared for appearing in job interview in which
personal details, education qualification, previous experience, other certifications or skills
required were mentioned of the candidates. This basically present a candidate as best suitable
person for the job profile.
Concrete experience: I needed to apply for jobs openings to expand my career and gain
knowledge I start learning how to construct an effective C.V. which will help me to get a job. I
started making resume through various websites and applications available online which help
and provide guidance and avail with different formats and designs to make an attracting one. I
also ask my seniors and friends for help they have provided me with several ideas and help me
out to write a C.V. for myself.
Reflective observation: Now I have enough material from which I can take assistance. But as I
move further, I found out with deeper study that different job profiles required different formats
of C.V. and it should be updates with all the necessary information. The font size and design

should be professional, proper line spacing must be used, irrelevant information or data should
be mentioned in that (Kolb and Kolb, 2017).
Abstract conceptualisation: Now I have started writing resumes on my own and while doing that
I found out that I should also focus on learning my basic writing skills and also work on my
knowledge with Microsoft word. I should know the proper use each and every feature of word as
to how I can insert table and how I do formatting and all. Although I have all the material to
write but its hard for me to process in that software.
Active experimentation: After I have focused my learning on constructing my resume with MS
Word, I start practicing on that particular software only and gradually improved. I will make use
of this C.V. writing for applying in several job and employment. I have shown one copy of this
to my seniors and they appreciated and told me to make some minor changes otherwise I am
good to go.
Paraphrasing:
This is used to express the meaning of something written in a paragraph or line by choosing
different word or frame a different sentence for better understanding of the meaning.
Concrete experience: This I learn through my academic’s teachers and lecturers they have
taught us in classroom by giving various examples and projects or task. Tests were also
conducted to enhance our better understanding. They provided me with different books which
were based on writing techniques and give me some paragraphs and sentences to rephrase them
and make corrections in them (Morris, 2019).
Reflective observation: I have observed that for improve my paraphrasing skills firstly I need to
focus on improving my vocabulary and grammatical knowledge, for that I start reading books
and take grammar and spoken lessons through online mode and with the help of my teachers. I
brough dictionary and encyclopaedia and various novels which will help me in increasing my
choice of words and better understanding of what really a word mean at different occasions.
Abstract conceptualisation: After taking the grammar classes and reading several novels and
books now I have improved quiet a lot. I started practicing on my own and took necessary
guidance from my teachers in case I stuck somewhere. I try to learn new words and use them in
suitable sentences in a meaningful way.

Active experimentation: It helped me when I take part in several essay writing and report
writing competition where I used my knowledge and this will provide me a next level of
confidence and guidance and help in measure my capabilities.
Summarising:
It is short form or a version of a sentence. It consists of all the necessary and main point of the
whole sentence or paragraph and sum up in a short brief. An efficient summary is an example
that you understood the exact meaning of the topic.
Concrete experience: The first and foremost experience I have gained of summarising is in my
graduation school from my teachers and also with the help of books and journals, as we were
given several projects and group works where, I have to make research reports (Wilkinson,
2017).
Reflective observation: I identify that I am facing several challenges and issue while
summarising any topic because it’s necessary to first understand the and read the whole chapter
or paragraph or report to understand what it is all about and what are the key points in that,
recognising the actual important major factors is a challenging task for me. I decided to first
improve interpreting knowledge and identifying actually the topic is about what.
Abstract conceptualisation: I utilise my learnings by implementing it on my text books reports
and try to write conclusions and summary of the complete topic. I can improve it by continue
practice and dedication. Try to focus on the reading and analysing skills.
Active experimentations: This helped me in making research papers and professional reports
making. As in professional report summary is the main part through which one can calculate the
authenticity of your report and take an idea what the research is all about and what all theories
and approaches were applied and implemented in the whole research. This will help me to
enhance my ability to understand and better recognise the important components of any report or
topic my analytical thinking and writing has improved.
Time management:
Proper and efficient management of time is very crucial, it refers to make proper planning and
division of work between different activities. Division of time in a good manner will facilitate a
person to manage all the duties with ease and can still have spare time for themselves.
Concrete experience: Time management is taught by my parents and professional around me I
have grown up watching them managing professional and personal work. They are a hard-

working employee and good parents too. I have seen them completing office deadlines and
fulfilling all the necessities of households still spares time for family and other fun activities. I
get to learn how to manage and allocate specific time to things based on their priorities.
Reflective observation: Initially I am finding it hard to manage my schedule. As allocation of
time is easy but managing the pace with that timing is very hard. I am having difficulty in
completing task in determined time frame. As I still need to learn who to manage time between
the sub division of a particular task and I also fail to prioritise task according to the time they
consume to finish or on the basis of the requirement to be finished first (McCarthy, 2016).
Abstract conceptualisation: I started at initial level by dividing smaller works, so that I don’t get
panic and they can get easily completed. Once I get confidence than I start taking on the difficult
works at a time and analyse how much time they take and distribute accordingly.
Active experimentation: This particular skill is turn out to be useful for me not only for the
professional perspective but also in personal life. I manage my study timings and now it become
easy for me to cover up all the subjects and still I left with time to relax and have some time for
my own. Earlier managing and studying all the subjects were hard some or the other homework
or submission was left undone. The actual life implementation proved to be very advantageous
and beneficial for me to follow.
Employability skills
These are the essential abilities and expertise required in a person to be eligible enough to get
selected for any job.
Concrete experience: These skills were acquired by attending personality development classes.
Doing some certification and online courses and diplomas to enhance my knowledge and
increase the chances to get employed (Long and Gummelt, 2020).
Reflective Observation: Although I have theoretical knowledge in different fields but I observed
and felt that only attaining that is not enough I should get corporate exposure and practical
training too.
Abstract conceptualisation: I decided to enrol myself as a trainee or intern in some company or
firm to get the basic idea or how actual business and industries work or functions. During my
internship tenure I get to imply all my theoretical knowledge in different situations and business
settings and can monitor that weather or not they are effective to what extend in real life
situations.

Active experimentation: my training experience is turns out to be useful when finally, I get to
apply for a job. I used all my learning on giving job interviews and my internship experience
helped me a lot to face employer and answer their questions related to the industry in its work
environment (Lehane, 2020).
CONCLUSION
The above report concluded that, with the help that research I have analysed that in order to
succeed in professional and personal life one must need to have all the knowledge which were
mentioned in tasks. All of the basic writing knowledge could help in effective drafting report
writing et. and time management and employability skills are very essential if one wanted to
