INTRODUCTION
Employability skills refers to most necessary skills, qualities and talents that are needed
while doing any kind of work. These are some of the skills leads a person to be desirable for an
organisation. With the help of such skills it allows an individual to solve various problems,
interact with other people and so on. It involve many things like leadership, team work, patience,
emotional control and many more. Employability skills are also been considered as a transferable
skills that are needed by an individual and it all depends on their knowledge and attitudes. An
individual can perform in a job only if they are having such skills so that they can effectively
manage their roles and responsibilities. The below report is based on Gibbs' reflective cycle. In
accordance with reflection it is been done on different skills like communication, research, use of
ICT, team work, time management and problem-solving skills followed by examples and a plan
with objectives.

Gibbs reflective cycle refers to the reflection on the basis of learning experience which
allows a person to improve their performance for present as well as for future. There are six
stages been involved in reflective cycle which are description, feelings, evaluation, analysis,
conclusion and a action plan. In terms of communication skills in the form of both verbal and
written. In terms of verbal communication it is considered as an oral form of communication
which includes presentations, conversations and many more. In terms of written communication
it includes letters, reports and so on. In context with my communication skills it is been
explained as below:-
I had an amazing experience on learning communication skills which was needed at my
workplace. At my job the most important thing is communication in both verbal as well as
written communication. There were many situations in which both type of communication was
needed. I have continuously achieved growth at my workplace I had a strong communication

workplace. I applied both verbal and written communication methods. I used to make
presentations and also made reports which got resulted into positive way.
I felt very encouraged and motivated because other employees were happy with the way I
was interacting with them. It was a very positive situation for me as during my presentations and
sending letters to everyone my skills were getting developed. To built up my employability skills
I focused mainly on communicating with people.
Everything was been going really well and positive but in some situations it created a
negativity too so it was necessary to take some actions with regard to that. The main thing which
got successful was that I improved my both verbal and written communication skills which is the
only thing which is needed at workplace but at the same point of time I certain situations I was
feeling difficulty in doing interaction with other people. As I was not able to communicate with
everyone present in organisation. While applying the written form of communication then those
employees to which letters were been sent so to them I was not able to interact with them.
After analysing both positive as well as negative aspects I learnt that I should not focus
on using the method of oral communication more rather than sending out letters or making
reports. For example, from now on I should start giving presentations to my problem solving
skills co-workers and start interacting with them. With the help of my other talents I should now
built up my communication skills. The main objective of my would be to start interacting with
each co-worker rather than only few ones.
In context with my research skills it is defined as an ability to solve specific problems. It
involve to collect information, review that and interpret the data in such a manner that a person
can find out the solution. At my workplace I experienced that my research skills were been both
in positive as well as negative way. In terms of positive situations many problems got arise while
doing job but I analysed all data in a correct manner which helped me in doing effective research
and also improved my performance. I experienced that my skill of report writing was the most
helpful for me. In terms of negative situations it happened that I was not able to analyse the data
properly.

correct manner but as situations were getting worse doing research also became difficult. At a

and having the knowledge is the most necessary thing. During my period of doing the job I
experienced that I had a good knowledge of Java script as well as HTML which is the most
necessary thing at job. It created positive situation because during the time of presentations these
skills were needed the most.
I feel very happy as well as positive that with the help of my efficient skills I was able to
analyse all data in the correct manner. There were certain situations in which my operations
didn't go well because of issues in Java script as it is the most important on and due to this
negative situations were getting arise. So, to improve and develop my skills I started taking free
online classes to get more knowledge about computer details and can establish it well at my
workplace.
In terms of team work and networking at workplace both the skills are needed while
doing any job. My experience of participating in team work and building up my networking
skills was very good and positive. I experienced that with the help of my good communication
skills my team work skills were also getting improved. My relationship with my co-workers was
good due to which my interaction with other people was getting effective.
In terms of team work skills I felt that all tasks were getting achieved because everyone
was performing as a team. All co-workers were supporting each other and during work also I

which helped me also in developing myself. As, I evaluated that good quality of work was been
delivered and productivity got enhanced. To enhance and manage both skills more I scheduled
my tasks and in accordance with it I set all priorities. The plan to develop it more I practised
being more patient and set all goals earlier only.
In terms of problem solving skills at workplace I experienced many challenges as well as
difficult situations which was not been tackled my me in a proper manner. I was facing difficulty
because my decision-making skills were not been good due to I was not able to solve certain
problems. I felt that due to such problems the situations were getting more hard because
communication with co-workers was getting affected.
To avoid negative situations I learnt that my focus should be now on improving decision-
making skills. So, to enhance my talents I started making small decisions with the help of my co-
workers which were beneficial for me. I started taking part in making decisions in order to
increase my self confidence. To deal with future aspects I made a plan to learn from my past
experiences and apply it in present.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is been concluded that employability skills are very important

effective communication, time management and so on. It is necessary for employees to have
