INTRODUCTION
Employability skills can be defined as the transferable skills which are needed by
individuals in order to make them employable. This creates more effectiveness for people
because employability skills are important for becoming successful in their life ,career and
future. This creates effectiveness for individual (Choate and Etheve, 2016). The present report is
based on “employability skill and my own personal development plan. The report will include a
various skill which are important for becoming successful in life as well as produce by personal
development plan for improve those skills in important and effective manner for great success.
CONTENT
Personal development plan by analysing own academic and employability skills.
The personal development plan enables me to take change of my own learning and
discovering which skills I need to improve in order to achieve in my career. From my point of
view the learning process become a proactive as well as reactive process which is designed and
to support immediate development needs for longer time and term ambitions. The personal
development reflects that an effective and valuable growth management.
Skills and competencies:
From my research and analyse I intend to develop top five skills which I consider
important for my future career as estate agent:
- Negotiation skills
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of purchase process
- Responsiveness
- Honesty and Integrity
Those are the skills and competencies which I consider them in order to become a successful
estate agent .Beside on that there are more others skills which it seems important to me. As a
estate agent to be up to date about commercial awareness is a crucial thing in order to succeed in
real estate industry. In the real estate needs to managed work program ,rate and price houses or
lands as well as current legislations for investing in lands and properties (Cottrell, 2015).
Another main point which I consider is building network with a good management and great
team work that helps to manage work properly and effectively. A good organization helps to
make proper focus on different tasks and use of time, energy and strength.

Understanding the knowledge:
There are various knowledge and skills which are help for becoming a successful real
estate agent. I must have knowledge about sales and marketing, a good and positive attitude as
principles and methods for showing my value, also knowledge of customers and personal
services by analysing customer needs and meeting quality standard. The estate industry require
as agents to have skills about sales communication and interpersonal communication, the process
of negotiating as well as experience in general business (Egerton and Waters, 2015). These skills
create more effectiveness for building growth of personal career and company. It is a must know
for me to be aware of fact it is my responsibility to manage knew skills in order to provide
quality services which every client needed.
Achievements:
As a real estate agent I intend to add value to the company and especially to benefit from
this opportunity to work in a company where I can grow personally and professionally. I think
that any type of business has to do with people and the interaction between them. In other words,
from my point of view people are seeking to be listened to and receive what they asked for. That
being said, my goal is to understand and develop the ability to communicate as efficiently and
pleasantly as possible with clients in order to receive what they want.
Personal attributes:
From my point of view as I have mentioned the most important personal attributes related
with real estate industry are honesty and integrity, responsiveness, knowledge of real estate
market and communication skills (Grant-Smith and McDonald, 2018). Those personal attributes
give me a guide where I should focus on, and they are helpful and effective to achieve my goals
and objectives in effective manner. This creates great opportunities for me for becoming
successful real estate agent. This creates more effectiveness for me. Those attributes are reflected
that the growth ability of me in my future. These are important for me to manage my work on the
time and for creates more growth.
Conclusion
As per the above, it is very important to analysis my skills and ability because this helped
to understand my weak point and improvement areas (Griffiths and et.al., 2018). Those are
highly helpful for me to address every skills and improve those in proper manner by using
appropriate skills and knowledge of work.

The opportunities are helped to become a successful real estate agent and future investor in
properties. With the helped of I have got idea about my area of improvement at future workplace
in effective manner. But it is very important to improve weakness in effective manner.
Otherwise, it affects to performance of individual in real estate. I have various strength which are
provided more effectiveness for work. This also provide a great opportunity for becoming
successful real estate agents. I have strength which is discipline and determination and
ambitious. I am very creative and analytical thinker for planning good attributes. Those are my
strength which is reflected by personal SWOT analysis. This also reflects my weaknesses where
I need to hard work about the works (Osei, 2016). I have lack of experience in the real estate
industry and not able to make proper focus on multitask at the same time. I also have weakness

estate agents. For that I have to work on my weakness for improve those in effective manner. For
that here I need to develop personal development plan for managing and for improving my
weaknesses in effective manner. This creates improvement is higher effective for managing

Personal development plan is helpful for improve skills and competencies in proper
manner. This help to enhance my performance in current role, addressing career aspirations
towards a future role. This creates more effectiveness for developing my future and addressing
my goals which is real estate agents in better manner. This includes some steps which are helpful
for me to develop personal development plan are as follows:
Step 1: Deciding on your goals:
This is the first stage which is helpful for me to manage and decide goals of my future
life. My goal is to become a successful real estate agent by managing property dealings as well
as improve my skills and abilities. These goals are help to me for making proper focus on my
future achievement and growths. I want to achieve after completing graduation is to successful
real estate agent. For I need to improve my skills which are related to real estate like knowledge
of real estate, developing right skills at delegating tasks, focused on multiple tasks and increase
know about the industry (Osgerby, Marriott and Gee, 2018). My long term goal is successful real
estate agent by improving knowledge of industry. I read books and set realistic priorities to
achieve within the 3 months. For that I need those skills like commercial awareness,
communication skills, teamwork, problem solving ability and organizational skills. On the other
side my mid term goal is to completing studies related with real estate agent within the one year.
Step 2: Evaluation of current position:
In any critical situation I need to develop my problem solving and critical thinking for
making best decision for work in an effective manner. For communicating in better manner here
I need to develop my communication skill. This help to communicate proper information with
customers and employer. In the situation of team work I need to improve my team management
skills by creating more goals of company. This creates higher effective for me develop those
skills. After taking best decision by communicate proper with seniors I decide it is the success of
me (Rothwell, 2015). My strength is the good planner which I think with managing event on
