INTRODUCTION
Employability skills refer to a set of transferable skill-set that is required by a person to
become an effective and efficient employee. It also includes the knowledge, experience and
abilities of an individual to perform the tasks in a given employment area. It is very important
that a person should possess certain skills, knowledge, and experience to become a successful
employee. Report will explain the employability skills with the help of SWOT analysis.
MAIN BODY
SWOT analysis is an effective tool to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and
threats of something or someone. Personal SWOT analysis is given to understand my
employability skills.
Stronger employability skills
Technology skills: It refers to the knowledge of various technologies by an individual that
helps to become a prominent employee (Nisha and Rajasekaran, 2018). The knowledge
of Excel, G-suite, etc. is a crucial aspect for my employability.
Problem solving: Organisations face many problems on an everyday basis and with the
help of this skill defining the problems, planning and execution becomes easy.
Adaptability: With the consistent changes the ability to adapt is necessary that makes a
good employee.
Team spirit and collaboration: I understand that team spirit is very important for
interacting and collaborating with colleagues at the workplace.
Weaker Employability skills
Communication skills: The main weakness that I possess is the inefficient communication
that I need to develop.
Taking initiatives: I am not good at taking initiatives and this is declining my
professionalism and lowering my capability to work better with dedication.
Opportunities to develop more employability skills

Analytical thinking skills: Three opportunities to acquire this skill are helpful in
improving the problem solving ability in the workplace.
Self-management: I think that self-management is helpful in improving my work
performance at the workplace.
Upskilling: It refers to the never ending learning process that can be helpful to achieve
better knowledge for further growth (Adeyinka-Ojo, 2018).
Threats to existing employability skills
Lack of time management: My ability of time management is not very effective that
lowers down the overall effectiveness of other skills.
Organisation skills: The shifting focus is fluctuations that lower down the capacity of
other skills.
CONCLUSION
The above report has been explaining the employability skills required by an individual with
the help of personal SWOT analysis that is helpful in identifying the strengths, weaknesses,
