TASK 1
1.1 Developing a set of own responsibilities and performances.
Tesco company is facing loss in sales from last three years. In order to eradicate such
losses' management of company is hiring consultants in order to overcome those occurred losses.
As a leader under this company it's my duty to perform effective performance to enhance its
productivity and sales (Larraz and et.al., 2017) Being a leader it's my responsibility is to
understand the work that are undertaking under business organisation. My functions and
responsibility is to motivate my subordinates at every level of production in order to increase
their work efficiency. However, it is my duty to provide them advises and some guidance related
to work which are assigned to them. The primary duty of leader is to initiate creative ideas and
innovativeness in regard to enhance production activities. As we have studied that sales are
decreasing under Tesco company from last three years, managers of company must evaluate
certain plans and those plans are communicated further to leaders. However, it is my duty to
evaluate those plans and communicate it among subordinates to conduct effective production
process. Further, it is the duty of a leader to organise certain training and development programs
for employees in order to increase their knowledge and skills. Thus, with the enhancement of
skills and knowledge employees would work more efficiently under production process which
would result in developing sales of products and thereafter will generate revenue as well as
growth of an organisation.
1.2 evaluate own effectiveness against defined objectiveness.
In order to achieve objectives and goals of Tesco company it is the duty of a leader to
provide training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge about the work that
has to be performed by employees working under this company. However, it is necessary to
provide training at every dimensions to enhance overall work performance of employees. Under
such sessions several ways are communicated in accomplishing tasks effectively and also
provides knowledge about duties that has to be performed. However, by adopting such training
programs I have enhanced my communication skills and abilities to generate risks that are
prevailing under Tesco company (Adeogun, 2016). With the enhancement of such skills, I have
started greeting my subordinates in a proper way with effective postures, gestures etc. thus, this
effectiveness has developed morale of employees. Moreover, such acts have reduced several
business conflicts and has created friendly environment within cited company. On the other

hand, by adopting all such techniques I have gained knowledge related to demands and needs of
costumers and also enhanced my skills in order to develop creative products. Further, in order to
develop own effectiveness it is recommended that adoption of various seminars, conferences,
training and developing programs have resulted in generating growth of every personnel working
under business firm.
1.3 Recommendations for improvement.
From the above study it has been cleared that adoption of effective training and
development programs is a crucial factor to enhance ability and skills of a person towards his
work in the Tesco company. Such activities have developed my confidence level and has also
enhanced my communication skills (Adeogun, 2016). However, it is analysed that performance
appraisal consists of three primary functions- connection of employee performance therough
their compensation, recognising employees through his performances and addressing the
improvements of employees. Performance appraisal technique focus on improving employees
job performances. There are several recommendations adopted in order to improve performances
at workplaces such as : -
Performance improvement plans : - this is a document that involves every structure line for
improvement of employees. In order to improve such plans frequent meetings are emerged
among employers and their subordinates in order to achieve long term success of improvement.
Discipline : - in order to recommend employee improvement the basic factor that has to be avail
is to maintain discipline among working environment. It is further justified if there exist any poor
performance, miss conducting or any other violations among employees working under Tesco
company.
Training : - training is an obligation that is provided to employees by their employer in order to
develop all aspect of performing the job effectively. At the time of performance appraisal
employees are appreciated if their performances are developed after adopting training programs.
1.4 Motivational techniques used to improve performance quality of employees.
Providing incentives and remuneration according to work performance is the most
effective motivational technique which is optimised to generate high quality performance.
Similarly, in order to generate quality performance Maslow has developed motivational theory
which determined needs and wants of the people or workers working under business organisation
(.Stephenson and Sadler-McKnight, 2016) However, by providing effective motivation to

employees an organisation can generate more flexibility in production and would generate high
growth as well as revenue. Apart from this proper improvement in managerial style or
supervision also enhances the morale of employees and improves their focus on achieving
organisational goals and objectives. Further, this also enhances effective relationship among
employees and thus creates friendly business environment by overcoming all conflicts. This also
depicts the role of managers that is been performed under Tesco company. Moreover, employees
must be given effective support and advises in order to generate their morale and this on the
other hand contributes in developing skills and abilities to develop high quality production
system. Therefore, employees must likewise provided with effective appreciations and
recognitions which creates a sense of respect and dignity among other employees. Thus,
motivational techniques are a necessity to be adopted by every business firms to enhance its sales
and production.
TASK 2

For this task, selected organisation is fabric manufacturing company which is facing
issues related to quality problems. However, this in turn is enhancing frustration level of
employees and this in turn is enormously developing employee turnover. In order to overcome
all such problems, it is recommended that this manufacturing company must adopt latest
technology equipments and machines to develop quality products. According to the scenario it
has been analysed that there are several defects that has been developed under fabrics are- color
defects, fabric defects, sewing defects and sizing defects. However, these defects are reducing
sales of organisation and is affecting its brand name (Larraz and et.al., 2017)Further, to
overcome all such issues manager of company must study the business environment and
develops opportunity to adopt the latest technology. Afterwards plans must be prepared and in
order to execute those plan's leader must create and innovate different ideas of production.
Further those ideas are communicated effectively to its subordinates to generate high quality
products with no defects. By developing creative products more and more consumers can get
attracted towards that brand and would likewise contribute in generating high revenue and
growth. On the other hand, to deal with employee turnover problem, effective communication
skills need to be developed which will enhance friendly relations among them and also reduces
the conflicts prevailing under business organisation. Apart from this, several training programs
