The report is all about the changing environment of the corporate sector which affects from the

Some of the motivational techniques are given below which can be used in the Travelodge
company to motivate its employees:
Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs - It is essential to consider the effective motivational technique
and theory by the employees to enhance performances against the assigned tasks and duties.

The Travelodge Company should use the Maslow’s hierarchy needs of the needs theory. It is an
effective piece of theory which works on the employee’s motivation according to their needs. It
is essential for the organizational management to work on the employee needs and take it as a
motivation to enhance the performance of the employees. This theory contains three basic level

which divides the employee needs of employees. Employee safety and physiological needs are
considered in the basic needs. The management can enhance the motivation of employees by
providing a proper work safety environment, food, water, appropriate environment for work and
rest-room. The psychological need is on the second place in the hierarchy in which interrelations
in the working environment and prestige is considered. Each of the employees wants to develop
a better relationship with the co-workers and internal activities can help to develop better
relations. Each of the employees wants to develop prestige and accomplishment by earning better
in the organization. The last is self-actualization needs in the hierarchy which is on the top. It
motivates to employees by providing them recognition in the organization. This is the last in the
hierarchy which contains the self-motivation of employees to utilize their potential to get a better
position in the organization.
Rewards and incentive schemes – It is essential for the Travelodge Company to provide
monetary motivation to its employees which are the most effective way of motivation. The
company should develop an incentive plan which has to be based on the employee’s performance
in the organization. The management of the Travelodge Company should develop a hierarchy in
the performance according to which monetary benefits should be provided to the employees
(Scekic, et. al., 2013).
Conclusion
A conclusion has been developed by the above-presented report, it contains a huge significance
to analyze and evaluate the own effectiveness against the determined performance objectives and
duties assigned on a specific job. It is effective to identify the core area in which improvements
are required in the performance. The Maslow’s hierarchy needs technique is effective to motivate
the employee to perform better against the performance objectives.

Solution: The organisation provides the incentive or monetary benefits to those employees who
work overtime to give their extra efforts to attain the objectives of the Travelodge.
Lack of coordination: Due to weak communication process in the Travelodge Company,
the employees fail to create proper coordination in the work that impacts on the satisfaction of
