VOLUNTEERING
Volunteering is a term defines as an activity of doing something out of personal interest
for somebody who is in needs of serious requirements. These services provide by the
professionals individuals who helps in activities that requires qualified knowledge and good
skills to perform for social interest. Volunteering is anonymously giving own time and money
towards social services without excepting or demand in return. These services are provide for
self ha[happiness and satisfactions. People who provide these volunteer services are known as
volunteers. Many people provide volunteer services in education field by providing free
education to poor children. Also, other self services are in medical, emergency services, defence
and etc. on the other hand, free education for women and children in order to awake them for
their rights and safety is also included in volunteer services (Catan, M., 2019). Government runs
several programs for society welfare such as cleaning, sanitizing, protest against human rights.
People participate in these programmes in order to make their reliable contribution.
Volunteer in tourism, events are a new way to explore into new cities or countries which gives a
feeling of adventures and something unique out of an individuals comfort zone. There are several
tourism industry which provide volunteer opportunities in abroad at minimum costs and proper
facility. The tourism industry chosen for this essay is Plan My Gap Year. People who are willing
to visit abroad to provide their valuable services and ready to get the adventures experience has
to choose this tourism organisation, as they provide abroad trip at reasonable cost. The best part
of this organisation is that they have trusted association for solo female travels which can move
to another countries without any fear (Vogt, K.C., 2018). They mainly provide trips to Sri
Lanka, Vietnam, Cambodia.
People are mainly visit to other countries to provide many volunteer services which in
terms describes as community services, mainly community services includes health care facilities
for needed people. Health facilities are prove to be expensive, it is not necessary every family
group could take its benefits. In that case these volunteers move to other cities to get a temporary
job until their motive and task has not completed (De Bruyn, C., 2018). The service they commit
to provide is of listening to patients problems and issues, provide medical treatment and care to
get them well. PMGY have flexible services and 24/7 support for their customers which provide
opportunities to volunteers make new friends and perform their work well. The experience they

share with this organisation results in unforgettable moments. The employees working in this
organisation are well qualified and has immense knowledge about countries. in order to guide
the tourist so that they could experience each and every part of visited country at full extent.
There are many other examples of tourist volunteer as per individuals abilities such as, cultural
programmes, wildlife welfare, youth development and other more. PMGY launches these
association programmes so that reliable support could be provided for economic welfare. Being
engage in these volunteer programs (Gonen, M.Y., 2019). An individual explore the new vibes
and support of mindful and professional person which enhance their experience and knowledge.
The world is emerging with several fields and activities which has their own pros and cos
that impact as a positive or negative consequences into society. Volunteer in tourism has also
some positive and negative impacts which has to be identify and analysis at serious needs.
Volunteering spread positivity in such way that leads to meet with new and professional people.
Also, the countries get the benefits of volunteers by managing their abilities and talent onto
countries benefit. Underdeveloped countries creates more chances to become developed by
volunteer contribution (Doğan, M., 2017). Volunteers individual could effectively analyse the
countries condition and needs for requirement which could create positive impact by their
contribution. There are some negative aspect towards volunteer which influence on individuals
compatibility and accuracy towards the action. Otherwise it could cause severe impact on
countries development. The other negative aspect that create cause in drain out countries
resource. fake individual which prove them as a volunteers can lead to steel countries resources
and use them for their own benefits. Many people could move to abroad for no reason or to take
revenge from their rivals which took help of volunteer tourism sector for their own instance.
These impact could severely create damage for countries economy and difficulty to build trust
among people. This not only exert wrong people but impact on right individuals image.
