The topic that has been chosen to undertake this study is the Impact of Employee
Commitment and Satisfaction analysis of Asda Superstore Ltd. According to Kehoe and Wright
(2013), Employees in any business organisation form the backbone of the platform. They are
one of the major stakeholders of the company as their performance directly impacts the
organisation in terms of its quality of production and provisions of services that are offered by
the company to the end customers. the human resource department of the company is responsible
for the employees that are working for the organisation not only their recruitment and health or
safety is the limitation of the department they are also required to understand the issues and
grievances that people face on a daily basis as well as co-ordinate with them in order to improve
the work culture and work environment in an organisation. The commitment of the employee
with the organisation is essential as it ensures efficient performance by the employees. Slack et
al. (2015), stated that, It is important to have the interest of the employees aligned with the
objective of the company this will ensure that there is an understanding and commitment. On the
other hand, Mowday et al. (2013), had mentioned in their study that the commitment from the
employees generate from several factors like: favorable work culture, job description alignment
with the interest of the employees, relation with other employees and the leaders of the
organisation is also an important aspect of job satisfaction. Motivation has been identified as one
of the major aspects that impact the level of commitment among the employees (Atmojo 2015).

has a low attrition rate of employees.
Employee commitment: This is the rate of commitment that an employee has towards the
organization they are employed in. This ensures the alignment of the interest in between the
