The cook is chosen as a personal employee for hiring.
B. Employee Pay Stub-
The average pay for a cook is $400 per week.

D. Employee contract :
1. The regular pay rate- $400 divided by 40 hours per week = $10
2. Overtime pay rate- 40 * 1.5 * 2 hours= $120 per week
3. The standard work week have the following guidelines–
Exempt Employees- the employees (cook) who are exempted from the overtime
under the Fair Labour Standards Act (FLSA) are expected to complete their tasks
for which they have been assigned (Ehrenberg, 2017).
The eligibility for overtime for the non- bargaining employee unit – the regular
workweek for the eligibility for overtime for the non- bargaining employee unit is
35 to 40 hours per week.
4. Sick leave- there is no paid sick leave for cook. This is due to, the cook is working
on a daily service providing small business. Small business mostly do not have
paid sick leaves. The cook may take sick leave for himself or for his family but
the cook may extend it up to for only 3 days.
5. Vacation Details- They are provided holidays on national holidays. The United
States having small business running in the state may not have additional holidays

rather than national holidays. As they serve a large amount of customers per day
(Paul, 2018).
6. Health insurance details: the cook is provided with health insurance benefits for
family and his own health benefits. The health insurance have variation in cost on
the basis of age, health status and coverage amount. The cook will pay an amount
of $ 1.66 per month. The contribution plan for unemployment contains the pay,
which cannot be paid at a time. The payment for the cook are paid in a weekly
basis to the cook.
E. Detailed Deduction
Employee’s net pay after deductions is $400 per week, which is the amount of take-
home- pay after deductions. The state tax rate is equalled 26 % of the gross domestic
product, and 34 % average for all developed countries. US have low relative taxes
compared to other developed countries. The United States have 26 % of GDP and is
in 4th position in the world having lowest tax rates for the employees.
F. Legal Obligation of employer
The independent employers have legal obligations imbibe on the state and federal
level is-
The employer have the duty to pay the employee with the agreed amount, if
the employee is able to do the work.
G. Payroll Service Description-
For paying a proper payment to the employee, the payroll service is described below-
Tax guarantee is the effective payroll service which is provided to the employees
(cook). The cook is provided with the job in a fast food restaurant. The fees for the
cook service is $400 per week. The restaurant is offering attractive offerings for
