The present dissertation investigates and describe influence of employee empowerment to
enhance job satisfaction The Penisula Hotels. Hence, survey examine factors that impact on
employee empowerment. The research is based on 4 objectives that is concept of employee
empowerment in hospitality industry, aspects that increase job satisfaction in The Penisula
Hotels interrelation of employee empowerment to increase job fulfilment in The Penisula Hotels
and significant outcomes from employee empowerment. The study outlined that hierarchical of
needs is commonly used model to improve job satisfaction. The research derived the need and
implication of models like Equity theory, Maslow's need of hierarchy to manage satisfaction. In
contrast, study identified about employee empowerment which is attained by firm by involving
employees in decision making. The methodology of research comprises interpretivism research
philosophy, inductive approach, primary and secondary data collection and ethical consideration
which depicts reliability and viability of collected and analysed information. Thus, in accordance

Structure of dissertation Chapter 1: In first chapter, brief introduction of the whole dissertation explain which

job satisfaction. Chapter 2: In this chapter, literature review provide which contain information from
different authors views. It assists to understand about present topic and elements involved
in it. Views of different articles, newspapers, etc. helps to find effectiveness in present
study. Chapter 3: 3rd chapter contain research methodology which includes different methods
and tools. It assists to focus on appropriate methods which would help to underpinning
present topic. Chapter 4: In this chapter, primary data analysis has been undertaken which helps to
study about present topic that would be beneficial to find relevant information for present
study.
Chapter 5: At last, conclusion from findings and research methods will be explain to
show effectiveness of present topic.

CRITICAL LITERATURE REVIEW

authors views and ideas. In this consideration, it can be stated that employee empowerment and
job satisfaction are two important concept that helps to focus on gain relevant information. With
this regard, present study includes concept and views of employee empowerment in hospitality
industry The Peninsula Hotel. Furthermore, theoretical model explained for job satisfaction
activities in the business to communicate different benefits in research study. It helps to
understand different authors views regarding hierarchical and herzberg two factor theory.
As per the views of Fernandez and Moldogaziev, (2015), quantitative research methods
emphasis on objective measurement with statistical, mathematical and numeric analysis.
Therefore, data are also collected from using questionnaires and conduct survey on employee
empowerment which increases job satisfaction in hospitality industry. In this way, manipulating
pre-existing statistical data using with computational techniques. On the other hand, McPhail,
Patiar and Davidson, (2015) argued that quantitative data is information about quantities which
contain information that can be measures and written down in numbers. It can be defined as any
method that will result in numerical values. Therefore, survey has been undertaken by researcher
to collect numerical information with close ended questions.

Employee empowerment attempts to enhance staff members control, autonomy and
decision-making with specific work that are related with tasks. According to the views of
Chiang, Birtch and Cai, (2014), within the hospitality organisation certain parameters set such as
