MAIN BODY
According to the view point of Allen. M, 2020 it has been determining that
employee’s engagement is one of the emotional commitment which employees feels towards
business firm as well as actions which they take for making sure success of company,
engaged staff demonstrated care, enthusiasm, accountability, dedication and many more.
Thus, t can be said that employment engagement program plays important role in reducing
staff absenteeism as well as it is good idea for an business firm (Employees Engagement-A
Cultural change, 2020). In addition to this, engaged employees play important role in
accomplishing organisational goals and objectives because they work with passion as well as
feel emotional connection with company (Azim and et. al., 2019). They always try to come
with something innovative for further development of company. Engaged employees are
characterised as loyal, committed, productive and deliver outcomes to business firm. In
United Kingdom 17 percent of employees are engaged, 57% are not engaged as well as 26%
are actively disengaged.
Employees who are engage in positive manner within organisation perform their work
in better manner as well as more productive (Koch and et. al., 2019). In similar manner,
business firm with high engagement perform in better manner in comparison of those who
have low engagement. In addition to this, within some past years employee’s engagement
concept has been grown up as well as reinforces through pressure of recent economic
recession (Biniari and et. al., 2017). During recessionary time available employers have less
skilled staff and working in situation where there is little slack in system. In such
circumstances making best use of employee’s skills and experience as well as keeping staff
happy is important (Understanding employees engagement, 2020). Thus, in simple term it
can be said that employee’s engagement is important for business firm because it provide
assistance in gaining positive and better outcomes in relation of company.
From this entire discussion it can be said that employees engagement is important for
an business firm as well as it is good idea because it will provide assistance in accomplishing
organisational goals and objectives within effective manner (Ahmed and et. al., 2019).
