MAIN BODY
Employee engagement is considered as a process through which the subordinate
increases their involvement towards goal and objective of organization which will be helpful in
increasing success as well as growth in future period of time. It is considered as a two-way
commitment among the organization and its members that help in increasing confidence level of
subordinate during particular phase of time period. Therefore, the main objective is to improve
level of engagement of employees in order to reduce absenteeism within business organization.
Hence, the organization adopts different programs that are helpful in motivating it subordinate
during particular time period. According to my point of view, it is a good idea to conduct an
employee engagement program in order to reduce subordinate absenteeism. It increases
productivity and profitability level of organization in future period of time (Mone, London and
Mone, 2018). The organization is taken as TESCO. In context of Tesco, the manager of
organization focuses on conducting employee engagement program for eliminating absenteeism
within business organization. There are different program which is conducted by manager of
Tesco such a showcase, face book, sparks and colleagues briefing session that help in increasing
involvement of employees towards the policy which is made by company and also that is helpful
in increasing their career progression and development. The main purpose is to reduce the
absenteeism of employee that help in increasing productivity level of company in future period
of time (Rao, 2017).
The main objective is to maintain pride between colleagues and designing fund as well
as business focused activity that help in increasing involvement of employees in order to perform
different activities within business organization. In addition to this, they also implement 360
degree approach that is helpful in executing involvement activities of employees towards
decision of company. The main focus is to increase the involvement of employees during the
period of time. In addition to this, they also organize reward and recognition program that help in
motivating its subordinate in order to increase their contribution or efforts toward company.
They provide awards such as promotion, appraisal that motivate employees towards goal as well
as objective of the company that must be achieved (Saks, 2019). Their focus is on achieving goal
and objective in a stipulated period of time. Hence, it is necessary for organization to conduct

different program for increasing engagement of employees which will be successful in future
period of time. Therefore, it has been analyzed that they conduct the program named as
colleagues’ engagement that help in generating bonhomie between work force as well as
management. The appropriate engagement of colleague is helpful in success of organization.
Therefore, as per my point of view, it is necessary to conduct colleagues engagement program
that help in reducing absenteeism which will be advantageous for success of company.
