INTRODUCTION
Organisation design is the process or the framework that helps the organisations to make
a structure that can help them to become more effective and efficient towards the goal. It is very
important for them to includes effective communication, decision making, co-ordination of all
the departments in order to run the operations smoothly in the workplace. On the other hand,
management also plays an important role in effectively organising, planning, leading and
controlling the activities in the workplace (Ohrling and et.al., 2021). They are the essential part
of the organisation as they takes important decisions related to the achievement of the goal in the
company. In this report there will be the discussion on the various aspects of the employees
engagement in relation to the organisations. Implications of these aspects will also be discussed
on the organisations and their stakeholders. At the end of the report, there will be the evaluation
of the various theories in relation to the engagement of the employees with the organisation.

Engagement of the employees for the companies is very necessary that helps them to
achieve the goal and target on the time. It shows their dedication and enthusiasm towards the
particular work. Employees are the valuable assets of the company that plays an important role in
carrying out the operations at a workplace (Beynon-Davies, 2021). It is very important for
leaders of the company that they should encourage them towards the achievement of the
organisation's goal. Management plays an important role in the company as they make effective
plans and strategy through which the employees have to carry out the work. There are various
employee engagement aspects that helps the company to keep motivated their staff towards the
work.
Leadership is one of the most effective part of the organisation that helps in designing
the work culture according to the needs of the employees. These people of the organisation
facilitates the employees to work with full motivations and responsibility. They regularly
motivates and encourages the employees towards the achievement of the goal in the workplace.
They also ensures that they should make healthy relationship with them that increases the sense
of belongingness. This facilitate the organisation and the business firms to fully engage the
employees with the activities of the organisation. For example, leaders of the Unilever company

are very professionals as they motivates their employees on a regular basis. This helps them to
engage them with the operations and also allows them to make relations with the upper level of
management (van der Voordt and Jensen, 2018). Other important aspects of the employee
engagement is the Communication. This plays an most important role in the organisation and
the companies to conveys the important information and messages that does not delay the
process of production. Effective communication helps the managers and the leaders of the
company to effectively co-ordinate the plans and the strategies to the employees through which
they can carry out the work easily. Multinational organisation and companies ensures that they
should take the feedbacks and reviews of the employees on a regular basis so that they can get to
know about their problems. This aspects facilitate the organisation to increase and maintain the
engagement of the employees towards the activities in the workplace. For example, the mangers
and the leaders of the Tesco company conveys the business ideas and strategies by using
effective communication tools. This helps the employee to easily understand the message and
through which they can carries out the operations in a workplace. Engaged employees can
produce more productivity at the workplace when the communication process in the company or
the organisation is executed effectively.
Culture is other aspects in the organisation that helps in increasing the
engagement of the employees at the workplace. A positive work environment in the company
give more enthusiasm and motivation to the employees to carry out the operational activities.
Managers of the company focuses on that the environment that is being given to the employees
should be more safe and healthy (Bruce, 2021). This directly helps the organisation in increasing
the profitability in the future because more engaged employees considers the values and the
goals of the company. Employers of the company ensures that they increases the engagement of
the employees by providing them positive corporate culture. For example, management
departments of the Unilever maintains a healthy work culture at the workplace that helps them to
keep their employees motivated towards the work. By providing positive work culture company
become able to encourages the employee engagement.
Rewards and Recognition are also one of the major elements that helps the organisation
and the companies to make their employees more engaged with the goal and the objective.

that they give regular feedback to their employees about the work through which they can get to
know about their performance (Tanpure and et.al., 2021). Vision and values is the other element
that helps in maintaining the engagement of the employees with the organisation. More engaged
employees understands the goals of the business and how they can perform in order to achieve it.
Organisation clearly defines the vision and aim of the company to the employees.
Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the important aspects that increases the
engagement of the employees. Companies and the organisation which are more dedicated
towards their community oftens engaged their employees with the values and ethics of the
company (Kononova and et.al., 2021). Leaders of the organisation encourages the employees to
become more responsible towards the work and they should have to understand their
responsibility and duties towards the society.

the organisation and the business firms. Engaged employees of the company generally considers

of the organisation helps them to serve the products and the services according to their demands
and wants. Regular analyses of the performance of the employees helps the companies to give
rewards in the workplace (George, 2019). This boosts the motivation and the morale of the
employees in the company and they work with full dedication. Various aspects of the employee
engagement facilitate them to carry out the operations according to the policies and the rules that
are being made by the government. When the employees of the company work with full
motivation and dedication that will results generating more profits. It will directly contributes in
the GDP of the country and the living standard will also increased. Government of the country
will get so much benefit as they will be able to maintain the economic conditions. More engaged
employees of the company facilitate the organisation to establishes a valuable brand image in the
market. Company and the business firms regulars motivates the employees in the workplace
through which the morale of the employees get boosted and their actions results in achieving the
goal of the business.
Various theories have been made that better explains the concept of the employee
engagement with the organisation an the company. William Kahn's theory of the employee
engagement was one of the first person who uses this phrase. This theory was published in the
year 1990 by the William Kahn. This theory focuses on conditions that is being provided to the
employees in which they have to carry out the work. In this model he explain that there are
several factors that how the employees can feel connected to the company while working in
order to achieve the goal. Factors that are explained by him tell about that how employee carry
out the work in a company (Timi, Tamunosiki-Amadi and Tonbra, 2022). Meaningfulness is
one of the major factor of the theory that focuses on that what is the importance and the purpose
of the work that has been given to the employees in order to achieve the goal. Through this the
employees of the company can get to know analyse about the importance of the products and the
services that will be delivered to the customers in the market. This factor facilitates the
employees to put their significant effort towards the goal of the company. This factor helps in

factors that has been described in this is Safety. It is one of the most important factor that helps
in engaging the employees towards the goal. This factor of this theory can be defined as that the
employee should provide safe environment in which they will carry out the operations. An

the achievement of the goals and remains positive in the workplace. This factors tells that the
employees work with full motivation when they does not feel much consequences form the upper
level of the management (Marcus and Van Dam, 2019). This factors helps the organisation to
increase the engagement of the employees in the company. Availability is the third factor that
has been described in this theory. This factor means that the ability and the knowledge of the
employees in order to perform a specific role both mentally and the physically. This factor tells
that the employees have some limitations while carrying out the specific job. This factor focuses
on that the employees should given the duty and the responsibilities according to their capability.
Organisations and the business firms should take care of the employees that helps in increasing
and maintaining the engagement with the values and the goals.
Other theory that describes the concept of the employee engagement is Edwin
Locke's Goal Setting theory. This theory explains that setting up of the objectives and the goals
is the major element of the employee engagement. This theory focuses on that the employees of
the company and the organisations should given more opportunities that can help them in
achieving more success in the future. Management department of the company should distribute
the responsibilities to the employees that helps in achievement of the goal. Engagement of the
employees plays an major role in accomplishing the target in the given time. This theory contains
various factors that helps in executing the goal (Ghadermarzi and et.al., 2022). Clarity is one of
the major factor that explains that the goal should be easily understood and clear. Employees can
carry out the work effectively when they have proper knowledge about the goal and the objective
that for which they are working. Employees can show more engagement by increasing the
productivity at the workplace. Challenge is the other factor that can be defined the employees
should not push under so much pressure in order to achieve the goal and the objectives. This can
reduces the engagement of the employees with the company if they feel more pressure of work.
Commitment is the other factor of this theory that tells that the employees should work with full
