The present study will focus on investigating “the impact of employee engagement on
organizational productivity: A case study of Tata motors Limited, India”.
Research overview and justification
Employee engagement is considered the approach in which employees feels more committed and
passionate about their jobs. Through this employees remain more committed towards their work
this leads in increasing the outcomes of the organization. The estimation revealed that there is
direct association among the employee engagement and efficiency of the companies. This
research topic is important because in this strategy which Tata motors Limited selected and issue
it faced in implementation is discussed. This leads in supporting the company to overcome those
challenges for effective functioning of the operations. Further, employee engagement leads in
reducing employee turnover and support the company to retain more competent employees in the
organization. The engaged staff maintain efficient relationship between the organization ad
employees and leads in raising the ability of the company to compete in international
environment.
Literature review
Employee engagement is considered the efficient approach through which the employees
become motivated and results in increasing their growth and development. The objective of the
study is to investigate the relationship between employee engagement and performance of the
organization (Cheche et al., 2017). The data collection was done though using survey method
that is by including employees and by adopting sampling strategy. The study also adopt
positivistic approach, from the analysis it is investigated that it results in retaining talent in the
organization and maintain employee safety through which employees provide positive results
and work efficiently.
The measurement of performance is considered the major strategy to increase the profitability in
the organization, therefore several organization adopt different strategies to enhance so that the
performance of the organization also increases (Smith & Bititci, n.d.). The objective of the study

is to understand the relationship among performance management, employee engagement on
organizational productivity. The information gathering is done through adopting exploratory
action research and through selecting control group through different departments. The findings
revealed that employee engagement leads in becoming employee committed and motivate new
employee to perform better, this leads in increasing sales and maintain good relationship with the
clients in the organization.
Self-efficiency is considered the major strategy to increase the performance of the individual on
the job, the employee engagement reduce the cost and expenditure of the organization to retain
their employees (Carter et al., 2018). The aim of the study is to invest the strategies of employee
engagement and which support the organization to increase self-efficiency in the organization.
The data collection was done through using secondary method, the findings of the study
describes that companies adopt the strategy of road map for increasing success, establish two
way communication and also does fair and adequate performance appraisal of employees.
Research Objectives
The study will focusing on defining the influence of employee engagement on the productivity of
Tata motors. It is because estimation revealed that company adopts various strategies which lead
in increasing the number of employees in the organization (Negi et al., 2017). Therefore, to
accomplish the main objective of conducting the research the sub-objectives are developed that
is:-
To investigate “the concept of employee engagement”
To analyze “the policies and strategies adopted by Tata motors to engage employees in
India”
To examine “the challenges which Tata Motors face in implementing the strategies for
engaging their workforce.
To investigate “the employee engagement influence on the success of Tata Motors”

Methodology
It is approach which provides guideline to the researchers and supports them to accomplish the
objective of conducting the research (Teherani et al., 2015). The research proposal describes that
present research will use exploratory research design it is because not much of the study is
conducted to find the influence of employee engagement in Tata Motors, India. Therefore, study
will also use pragmatism research philosophy” it is because this will support in selecting the
method which is to be used in gathering and analyzing the data so that adequate information is
gathered for the subject matter. The research will use deductive research approach to describe the
challenges which Tata Motor face while using the strategies in the organization.
The research will be using primary method that is survey method will be used to take opinions of
the respondents. Therefore, in this approach employees from Tata Motors is selected and
information is analyzed by adopting quantitative method. In this testing method will be adopted
that is in the present research correlation method is adopted to investigate the relationship
between employee engagement and success of Tata Motors. Therefore, this leads in providing
complete overview of the company and describe the major strategy which support the
organization to accomplish long term objective of the organization.
Significance of research
The above sections are important because it describes the complete framework of conducting the
study so that adequate information about the issues regarding the management of strategies in
Tata Motor was developed. Therefore, it is significant to conduct the research by using proposed
methodologies because this leads in providing complete information about the outcomes and
results Tata Motors achieved by using employee engagement strategy.
