INTRODUCTION
Employee Engagement refers to the different types of approaches which are taken to ensure that
the engagement of the workers can be done in the right manner. The use of this approach can be
quite helpful so that the employees are able to attain the goals and objectives and contribute
towards the enhancement of the overall level of efficiency, effectiveness and productivity (Eldor
and Vigoda-Gadot, 2017). This report is based on Tesco. It is a British Multinational Company
which deals in groceries and other related products. It is going to increase its Employee
Engagement Activities so that it can make sure that the workers are able to engage properly and
are able to attain the goals and objectives effectively and efficiently. In this report, specific focus
will be made on aims, costs and benefits for that organization. Additionally, the detailed analysis
on timescale, costs and prioritization of the recommendations will be made as a part of this
project.

For the project of Employee Engagement it is essential that the different types of aims are
set for it. The aims for this project will be as follows-
To increase the overall efficiency- The project of Employee Engagement will be quite
useful in ensuring that the level of overall efficiency is increased within the organization
which will be helpful in achieving the goals and objectives (Gupta and Sharma, 2016).
Tesco has to make sure that its employee engagement activities are able to help in the
enhancement of the overall efficiency.

useful in making sure that the level of overall effectiveness can be increased within the
firm which can help in ensuring that the work can be completed in the right manner.

To increase the overall motivation level- The project of Employee Engagement will be
helpful in ensuring that the level of motivation of the different workers can be increased.
Therefore it is quite important from the point of view of Tesco that its employee

effectiveness and productivity without problems and issues. Improve the relationship between the employees and employer : As every company
works for the profit maximization and reducing losses. And organisation success is based
on the effective performance that established with the help of employees. So the
employees and employer are the crucial for the effective and smooth running of the
organisation and for its sustainability. In Tesco employment engagements is used by the
company that enhance the interaction between employees that support into making the
positive working environment. Receive and provide feedback: employment engagement provide support in to realise the
areas that has to be improved. Along with this tesco provides opportunity to employees to
expressing their feelings and views about the various aspects of the company. This helps
the organisation to offer the feedback to the employees that further increase the

Employee games and competition: As employees loved in getting involve in the games,
tournaments and competition(Guptaand Sharma, 2016). Tesco has organised this in every
two months. This includes pool tournaments or football league so that environment can

ability of the teams and individual employees. Tesco use this in every month as this is the
most effective way to engage every employees to become a productive and allow them to
a plans that bridge to fill the gap from where they are to achieve the goal.
Sharing best practices: tesco contains wealth information and the best practices that has
proved the best work, there are many ways to get to know about the do’s and dont’s of
the particular job or specific industry such as peer-to-peer interaction, interactions with
the experienced superiors, attending seminars or conferences. Tesla use this to build
employees productive through best practices sharing programs at is help by the company
in 3 months of timescale(Young, and. et. al., 2018).
Sports events: this is the great activity that brings the employees and families together.
This could involve any minor league or can be marathon that goes through the city and
organised by the respective company. This will be conduct in once a year.
COST: This is refers to the financial expenses that is needed by the company to accomplish

have. With this employee in tesco are able to get interact with each other and will feel more

For the better implementation of this, mangers of the tesco should ask the employees
itself about the activities they want to make themselves motivated and satisfied with the
working environment. this activities should be happen every month or in the last of every
month so that employees feel relax and cam start their work with the energy and full
