INTRODUCTION
The main reason for people to work is the need of earning a livelihood. After getting the essential
needs of life, the people start getting motivation to work for achieving some other wants and
needs. Motivation is the reason that makes people to do a certain type of task. Every person
need motivation to their tasks effectively and full of enthusiasm. The following report is based
on the detailed analysation of the topic. It first analyses various positive and negative
experiences that are faced by employees in their organisation. These experiences has a huge
impact on the productivity level of the employees. The negative experience has a negative
impact whereas the positive ones help in making good environment in company and increase
their efficiency. At last, it involves some strategies that can be implemented to cope up with the
negative experiences that are felt by the employees.
TASK
Meaning of motivation :
It is the process of making other people to feel the importance of some type of tasks and
providing the way in which it can benefit them. This factor is used by the owners or managers of
a company to motivate and increase the efficiency of its related employees (Härenstam, and
Nyberg, 2021). The term is vast with concern of researchers and business related people
worldwide. For this, there are even different theories given by several researchers. One of most
valuable related theory is the Marlow's hierarchical theory which was given by Abraham
Maslow. This theory identifies and mentions five needs of a human nature in the accordingly
form. These needs are mentioned in the following points :
Psychological needs – The first type of need involved in the theory are the essential needs
of an human being that are most important to have a stable life. These needs are - food to
eat, shelter to stay and clothes and clothes to wear.
Safety needs – After meeting the psychological needs, an individual generally demand
the safety which are related to living a healthy life. Some of the safety needs are – good
health, safety and security of life and assets form other organisms or natural calamities.
Love and belonging needs - These type tell about the need of a person to build good
relationships from other people with the motive of avoiding loneliness or to fulfil sexual
wants. Some examples of relationships are – siblings, parents, guardians and spouse.

Self esteem needs – The fourth type of need in the hierarchical pyramid is for having a
value and respect in the society. This need is for having dignity and a role in the mind of
people (Brickman, 2021).
Self actualisation need – The highest level of need in the hierarchical theory is the
actualisation of self. This mentions the want of people to view self and find the inner
person. Some example of this type is – realisation of self's potential and growth.
Two type of motivation which are given below:
Intrinsic – It is the feature which is linked to the abilities of the individual as they are
being rewarded that leads to the encouragement of the individual by utilising the proper
ways of accomplishment the objectives features. It involves the getting the proper
feedback .
Extrinsic- It is the specific features that is linked to the collection of the targets by that
individual which can have the external impact that is moving to gain t he rewards,
avoiding punishments and many more. It also assist in few circumstances which consist
of the rewards.
The various elements that encourages staff to work:
Salary- It is the specific amount of the money which is gained or it is given by the
individual who is working several kinds of work and also effectually attaining their wants
and desires. In this element, individual can work in what ever they desires to and also
earning good amount in order to make them earn more incentives which are more
commonly to operate in the right way in accordance to effectually attain their goals and
objectives (Yoo, Odom, and Berger, 2021).
Promotion- It is linked to the areas in which a person is promoted to the higher level
from their existing job roles and also have the desire outcomes in the firm. Workers are
promoted to the more better position in the organization which will lead to the enhance
their place and become more accountable in their assigned work and it leads to become
more influenced in the specific company.
Work Environment – It is linked to the elements in which a company provides their
employees effectual working area in which they can utilise their capabilities and skills in
a proper way. When the employees is operating in the accurate way which can lead to
increase in the total performance as well as productivity of the firm (Trianasari, 2021).

gaining the appropriate outcomes in order to make their workers satisfied. There are few
optimistic features which effects the experience of the workers and it is mentioned below briefly:
Skill Development and growth opportunities- As a individual is operating with their
incorporated collection of the skill in order to make the work appropriately in their
specific job roles in accordance to make them work more efficiently as well effectually.
If any job position of a person is providing more opportunities of the work so it is
considered as the optimistic experience of the employees.
Modern Performance management - When an employee is operating in the optimistic
working atmosphere in order to make them appropriately manage the large market
position in the provided market in order to get the appropriate working area. It is
evaluated by the consistent examination of the individual that is operating and leads to
understand the total needs and wants of the employees.
The negative factors employees experience as a result of their job roles:
There are several features which is having a large effect on the earning and the experience
of the workers in which they can effectually operate in their assigned job positions which is
mentioned below briefly:
Toxic working atmosphere – This element leads to possess the negative effect and the
worst experience for the staff and it also impact the whole working environment of the
company. It can be seen at the time when the workers does not feel satisfied from their
assigned job positions and tasks (Brislin, and Holwill, 2021).
Conflicts in workplace – This element is the specific feature which is linked to the
unwanted as well as unnecessary issues and conflicts in the company, among the workers
that can minimise the whole performance and productivity of the staff.
Strategies to cope with negative factors employees experience as a result of their job roles :
There are particular features because of which the employees can cope up with the
negative consideration of the employees which is mentioned below briefly :
Opportunity to give opinions and views – This element refers to the specific features
which can lead to have the more better way and it can assist in having effectual outcomes
and specific options in their certain roles of the job in the company. It also impacts the

effectual as well as efficient way.
Employee engagement – It is the main feature which permits the person to be less
formal conversations, frequent and reliable approaches that is supportive to have the
reduction of the several issues and conflicts and also encourages the workers who are

involves the appropriate recognition and engagement of the workers in the firm.
