Performance enhancement of the employees is considered to be one of the major aspect
for the benefits and stable growth of any organisation. In this regard, the purpose of this
reflective essay is to identify the required process and steps for the enhancement of performance.
The essay tries to make a DIEP framework in order to create a plan for performance
enhancement for the employees.
In this context, my learning experience suggests that creating an employee friendly
workplace environment will considered to be one of the strategic advantage to motivate the
employees in order to enhance their efficiency. According to Raziq and Maulabakhsh (2015)
besides the financial benefits and rewards and recognition strategy, it is important to maintain a
good workplace environment as ultimately most of the workers want to do job perfectly.
Moreover, in the research of Hennessey (2015) work ethics and motivation has a direct
correlation with motivating the employees to generate more efficiency in workplace.
In response to this, my learning outcome pushed me to choose different approaches in
contrast to the financial and monetary benefits that are considered to be one of the popular
aspects of employee motivation. The reason behind skipping out the monetary benefits is to
implement more efficiency and efficacy into the matter of employee motivation (Afsar, Badir &
Kiani, 2016). In this regard my learning outcome stated the role of the managers to deal with it.
Based on this understanding, it can be argued that motivation should be an internal
development rather than relying on the external factors like monetary benefits and rewards.
These process are short term solution for motivating the employees to raise the bar of
performance. Therefore, it requires a clear and long term process that should be accurate and the
dedicatedly motivate the employees (Karanika-Murray & Michaelides, 2015). In this regard,

changing the workplace environment and shaping it in accordance with satisfying the basic needs
of the employees will contribute effectively to the process of employee performance progress
strategically.
There are multiple ways to bring the employee friendly workplace environment through
routine induction and personal interview. In addition to this, providing ample time and time-shift
relaxation will be identified one of the significant measure to ensure the employee motivation.
The long term impact of this employee motivation will also bring effectiveness into the process
for future advantages. From that point of view, the employee motivation is highly and intricately
able to develop a futuristic motivation based employee performance enhancement technique.
